resumed ofce May 29 , 2019, with the vision and Roadmap
to Accelerated Development of Oyo state 2019 -2023, that
had been envisioned and eruditely communicated while on the
campaign trail, exacerbated by the glaring decay
and prevailing physical infrastructure deficit statewide. Some
parts of the state, Farmlands, Markets and Schools were not easily
accessible, and many round-trips or return journeys within the
state could not be undertaken in one day.
A study of project delivery between 2011 - 2018 revealed; that over
38% of the projects undertaken were either incomplete, inconclusive,
ongoing, or not sighted, while another 23% already showed
visible signs of defect. Pointing to over N 75 billion in unrealized
value (As shown in Figure 1).
