What a well fitting bra looks like
Bra styles
Part of findng the perfect fitting bra is making sure the bra shape
and style is the right type for your breast shape.

Bra band should be level
all the way round, not
riding up at the back,
curling up or digging in.
Straps should run parallel
at the back and not dig in
to the shoulders or slip off.
Breasts should be
comfortably enclosed
in the cups with no over
spill or puckering.
Centre front should be
snug to the chest wall
with no gaps or digging in.
Snug fit at the underarm,
not too tight and not
gaping.
Underwired bras
An underwired bra is a bra with a covered wire under the cups.
This style helps to lift and support the bust and the wires can
be either padded or un-padded. Some wired bras also have a
shorter wire which are recommended for a shorter torso, so the
wires don’t dig in under the arms. An underwire bra is suitable for
all breast shapes.
Soft cup bras
A soft cup bra has no underwiring to the cups. Non wired bras
tend to have a deeper support underband offering gentle
support. Wire free bras naturally shape and comfort the breasts,
making this bra style extremely comfortable for any breast shape.
A wire free bra is recommended for close set breasts which are
narrow or have no space between the breasts for comfort.
