THERMOWOOD
ThermoWood® is a type of modified wood in
which a timber is subjected to one of two types
of thermal heat treatment (185/190 – Thermo S
- Stability or 200/212 - Thermo D - Durability)
and water vapour, 100 % natural (contains no
chemicals), hygienic and ecological (the
burning and recycling of surplus material are
perfectly safe).
With this treatment, the wood is given an
improved dimensional stability (with the
reduction of the equilibrium moisture content)
and a longer durability (with a better thermal
insulation and for the drying and
disappearance of resin, avoiding the formation
of molding and rot).
The wood gets uniformly a brown colour with a
nice velvety surface to the touch.

BAMBOO DECK
The bamboo deck is made from high pressure
compressed bamboo strips. These undergo a
heat treatment process at 160ºC (Caramel) and
220ºC (Coffee), which modifies the sugar
molecules which are naturally present in
untreated bamboo. With this treatment,
bamboo is no longer a source of food for fungi
and microorganisms. In addition, this process
increases density, making bamboo strips very
hard. The stability of this material ensures
excellent durability. Bamboo is suitable for
outdoor applications, especially for decking

BAMBOO WALL
Bamboo wall is made from bamboo strips
compressed under high pressure. These
undergo a heat treatment process - a process
that modifies the sugar molecules, which are
naturally present in untreated bamboo,
achieving greater preservation and resistance.
Bamboo is widely used for outdoor spaces:
cladding of façades, gates, gardens, and also
for interior decoration. Bamboo has a number
of characteristics that are advantageous
because of its natural appearance and its high
stability, fire-resistant properties or because it
is a sustainable product, as it grows in
abundance in nature.
