BOOKLED
Bookled was created in collaboration with Hai, the
Hallein work initiative. This is a non-profit company
that helps to reintegrate job-seeking people into the
labor market. In addition to workshops where these
people can do handicrafts, Hai also runs a secondhand
store. However, resources such as books are
available in abundance and are bought far too little.
Under the motto „We give books a second shine“, my
colleagues Magdalena Wittmann, Yannic Lampe and
I have therefore created a lamp made of book pages.
This can be easily reproduced by the workers of Hai
in the workshops, for which we have also prepared
instructions. Furthermore, it is possible to adapt the
concept to different target groups. For example, how
about a children‘s lamp made of colorfully illustrated
fairy tale book pages?

CIMO
renderings
CIMO
Cimo is a combination of a suitcase and a bicycle
trailer. It enables flexible, sustainable transport on
foot and by bicycle. The design allows both the filling
of an integrated bag and the use as a hand truck. The
business model that goes with it includes a take-back
system, making it circular.
The name Cimo stands for „circular movement“, which
refers both to the applied circular economy and to its
use as a transport accessory. It was designed to make
it easier to transport large, heavy and many objects
without a car, thus enabling more sustainable behaviour.
02
BIKE MODE
In order to attach the trolley to the bike the coupling is mounted on the seat post. T
drawbar is then folded out and can be attached to the coupling within seconds.
FOLDING MECHANISM
To use Cimo as a hand truck the bag can be folded back. This way larger, bulky ite
can be secured to the product using tie-down straps. For space-saving storage, t
frame is also folded flat.

The frame is mostly made of aluminium and
polypropylene. To a minor extent stainless steel and a
special recyclable cellular rubber have also been used.
The bag is made of recycled nylon, called Econyl, and
has a capacity of 50 liters. It has a main compartment
and three inner pockets that can carry four tension
straps and a water bottle. The main compartment has
two openings for maximum accessibility. The bag can be
easily removed from the frame and is machine washable.
Apart from the bag and the frame the set also includes
two rear lights, reflectors on the sides and front as well
as four tension straps.

BUSINESS & MARKETING
Research showed that users of shopping trolleys are
much more diverse than expected. Cimo is designed
for young and active city dwellers, who are not yet
specifically targeted by other providers. The marketing
concept therefore focuses on the online sector and
includes a website, the social media platforms Instagram,
Facebook, and LinkedIn as well as influencer marketing
in the cycling and sustainability sectors. Nevertheless,
Cimo would also be represented at different events and
fairs for which business cards and folders are needed.
to penetrate new market sectors, marketing focuses not
on shopping, but on its use in leisure and work activities.
Examples include the transport of luggage, hobby, and
party equipment as well as carrying work and study
materials.
Cimo was planned as a limited liability company and
has a circular business model. The components are
produced by external manufacturers. They are then
assembled and sold either through the company´s
online store or through selected external stationary
dealers. The product is designed for durability. However
should something break, it can be repaired by Cimo ltd
or the user themselves or spare parts can be purchased.
If the user no longer wishes to use the trolley, he or she
can return it to the company, where it is disassembled
and then passed on to recycling partners.

SAMTPFOTENSHOP
mockup website
SAMTPFOTENSHOP
Samtpfoten is German for “velvet paws” and a synonym
for “cat”. This animal is the most common pet nowadays
and there is a huge market for cat-care-related
products. However, most of those items are currently
made out of plastic. On top of that, the way they are
designed doesn´t consider the well-being of the cat
and the owner. Therefore, my colleague Michaela
Buttinger and I developed a concept of an online
store that offers sensually and emotionally appealing
sustainable products for cats. The goal was to create a
shop that would be accessible and attractive for people
with limited budgets and without a strong interest in
sustainability.
The project included developing the corporate design,
the marketing concept, and the product range. Apart
from finding existing items that would fit into our store,
each of us also designed an own product.
02
HAARI
SAMTPFOTENSHOP
This is the product I created for the “Samtpfotenshop”.
“Haari” is a tool for removing loose undercoat from
cats. This not only helps to reduce the hair flying
around in the house but also has health benefits for
the pet. When cats swallow too much access hair
while they clean themselves it can lead to vomiting
and serious digestive problems.
Haari differs from conventional de-shedding tools
with a razor-like handle in the way it is held. The cork
grip fits snugly to the hand while giving maximum
control. Due to minimal material usage and simple
construction, the product is easy to produce, maintain
and disassemble. Cork is biodegradable while stainless
steel can be recycled. This means that it fits the criteria
of circular design while also being affordable.

DIFFERENT LIDS
for liquids and creams
As package-free shops are becoming more popular
their product range, especially in liquid and creamy
goods, is increasing. But what if you are about to get
a refill for substances like oil, vinegar, or honey when
your vessel is not completely empty yet. Disposing of
the rest would be wasteful while pouring your refill on
top of it is unhygienic. During my internship at Neff
Design, I created the Infinity Vessel to solve this issue.
SEGMENTS
volume of 250 ml each
What to do with leftover liquid or cream
in bottles that you want to refill?
This container allows you to leave the remaining
liquid or cream at home while getting your refill and
storing them both hygienically separated in the same
vessel afterwards. This is achieved through a modular
assembly of individual segments and an intermediate
floor. By adding or removing segments the container´s
volume can be adjusted. Due to the optional bottleneck
and the different lids, the vessel is suitable for dry goods
as well as creamy and liquid substances. Content and
tare can be written on the lid with a removable pen.

The container is designed according to circular
design principles. The distribution model includes a
take-back system, which allows customers to return
components or the whole container if no longer
needed. The returned items can be properly cleaned,
inspected for damage, and resold. It is also possible
to recycle any broken parts and reuse the materials
again.

VIAVAI - WE REWIND
Viavai is the Italian word describing the up and down
movement of a hand fan. This motion has a calming
effect, unlike the rotation of a ventilator. With our
motor-driven fan, we rewind the current hectic pace
and the time by using a traditional principle of air movement.
VIAVAI
My colleague Yiu Hei Chan and I developed the concept
together, which included logo design and making
a short film for the brand Marelli Air, as well as working
out the technological part.
After that, each of us created their own design. Mine is
big enough to allow a slow and relaxing movement and
can be switched on and off with a remote control from
the comfort of your bed or couch. On top of benefitting
the well-being, the fan is sustainably constructed according
to the Circular Design Principals.

TEDXKUCHL
I was a core team member of TEDxKuchl. For this speaker event, I worked in the field
of design and helped to create content for our Instagram page. Moreover, I took part
in developing concepts and realizing activities that happened between and after the
talks, our so-called „adventures“.
BADGES
Amongst other things I and my colleague Lea Zucker designed the name badges,
taking reference to our motto “Future needs Confidence”. These were laser cut and
given to everyone attending the event.

LEXUS CHAIR
The focus of this project was to create a piece of
seating furniture that fits the appearance of the brand
Lexus. Their cars are known for their extravagant and
futuristic design. The typical feature is the tension
between concave and convex shapes, sharp edges and
soft transitions, which is implemented in the armchair.

APOLLO LAMP
Created for my diploma thesis about the role of antique
gods, this lamp includes typical attributes of the Greek
god Apollo. Suitable for the sun god, the Apollo Lamp
emits indirect mystical light. The functions of this deity
as a divine archer and god of music are represented
by the symbol of bow, arrow and lyre, which can only
be seen when standing right in front of the lamp. That
way this meaning is present but not obvious at first
glance, just like the influence of ancient mythology in
our culture.

LEATHERY SKIN
This phrase was the inspiration of this backpack
design. Such old and tough skin is nowadays
something unwanted. At the same time leather and
therefore treated animal skin is a desired and popular
material in fashion, furniture and many other areas.
The backpack raises awareness of the connection
between our skin and leather, thus addressing the
similarity between human and animal.

REEF KNOT PENDANT
Giving jewelry has always been a way for people to express their appreciation
for another person. In a way, it is a symbol of human connection. The pendant is
