Introduction

Timely Messages is a devotional-come-workbook manual aimed to

help anyone who needs encouragement on their Christian path. As

you work through this workbook, either on your own, or with

someone else, you will come across a number of messages that were

custom made for clients in Transformational Coaching [my online

coaching practice], which have been edited so that many more

of you can enjoy these same teachings. Each chapter contains

Scripture references, followed by explanations of the concepts

being explored within those scriptures. Some of the explanations

have come directly from the prophetic word, and are in blue.

Prayer points and journaling spaces have been provided within the

book as well for your own reference. I hope all this can aid your

journey, regardless of what season you are in, or even your level of

Christianity. Because the book was compiled through prophecies,

much of the content has been presented in direct speech as if God

Himself is speaking to you. This is because that’s how the messages

were received.

I pray that the Father’s words will minister to your hearts and that

you will be accelerated into your next season in God.

CHAPTER 1

Be Still and Know That I Am God

Psalm 46:10

Verses

1 God is our refuge and strength,

a very present[b] help in trouble.

2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,

though the mountains are moved into the heart of the sea,

3 though its waters roar and foam,

though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,

the holy habitation of the Highest.

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;

God will help her when morning dawns.

6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;

He utters His voice, the earth melts.

7 The Lord of hosts is with us;

the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

8 Come, behold the works of the Lord,

how He has brought desolations on the earth.

9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;

He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;

He burns the chariots with fire.

10“Be still and know that I am God.

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth!”

11The Lord of hosts is with us;

the God of Jacob is our fortress.

CHAPTER 1

Be Still and Know That I Am God

The Lesson Cont'd

The Lesson Cont'd

Jesus says:

Being still also means being of one mind:

of one mind with me;

Of one mind with your instructions;

Of one mind about everything I say

and have said.

When your thoughts singularly focused, you cannot be

double-minded about the things in your life; you cannot be

in two minds about what God is telling you to do or

promising to do for you.

If you are double-minded, then you will never do His will

or follow His instructions. But if you are single-minded,

then you will only have one vision and you will do it with

the right motive.

James 1 says:

2 Count it all joy, my brothers, [b] when you meet trials of

various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith

produces steadfastness.

4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be

perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives

generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who

doubts is like a wave of the sea that is

driven and tossed by the wind.

7 For that person must not suppose that he will

receive anything from the Lord;

8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Then, from James 4:

English Standard Version (ESV)

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and

he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw

near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify

your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Be wretched and mourn

and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your

joy to gloom.

So be still, for there are still waters inside my heart that you

can come and engage;

If you feel shaky and unsure,

there is a river of stillness in My heart; and you can ask Me,

and you can come and stay in that river, and it will give you

stillness; It will align your thoughts and give you singlemindedness.

Being still and knowing that I am God also means that:

You put Me as a priority;

You place Me above all things;

For the instruction is just to remain still.

When you are still, you should be assured that I am the God

who takes care of everything.

So, put me above all your worries;

Above all your doubts;

Above all your anxieties.

I want you to engage with that scripture in Psalms, because

it’s about placing me first above all else.

If you don’t put Me first, then it will be difficult for you to be

still.

CHAPTER 1 S E C T I O N

Be Still and Know That I Am God

The Lesson Cont'd

The Lesson Cont'd

It’s very important to be still, because when you are still,

you will have a clear vision.

You will follow that vision;

You will not look to the right or to the left;

You will go straight.

When you are still, you are more likely to obey My

instructions than when you are not.

So, stillness also helps with obedience.

Stillness will help you to hear clearly from Me. When you

are not still, other voices may speak to you and other

things may come to you.

And when you hear that voice, do not doubt. Be still

repeatedly, until you are satisfied.

This is very important and fundamental to success.

I am giving you different ways of engaging rest,

because stillness can also be rest.

Be encouraged and engage in this.

Place all problems under my feet and be still in Me.

Be still in Me; be still, My children.

But when you are still, My voice will come to you clearly

and then you will know what to do.

This scripture is said in the context of a storm [Psalms

46:10] because people don’t hear me when they are in a

storm, or when it’s raining, or when the thunder is blowing

- and they have so much fear inside of them. They can’t

hear me, and they are consumed by their situation.

In that situation, be still and know that I am God and when

you become still, you will hear my voice clearly even

during the storm.

Many of you still have anxieties and fears about your

future and what God is instructing you to do; the directions

to take; and the things you must do in this season.

You are afraid, you have fear brooding in your heart;

You have doubts in your mind and you are dwelling on and

entertaining those thoughts.

But even in the inner storm that is going on inside of you, if

you become still, then you will hear the voice directing

to the right path.

Engage in stillness, then say:

Pray Today

God, I place you above all my worries:

All the things that I feel;

the lies that I hear from the enemy;

my struggles and my finances;

and everything I am going through.

And because of that, I will be still;

I will be at peace;

And I will be in rest.

CHAPTER 2 S E C T I O N

Finding Strength in Me: Part I

Verses

Philippians 4:13 New King James Version (NKJV)- I can do all

things through [a]Christ who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:13 (NIV) I can do all this through Him who gives

me strength.

The Lesson

What do you need to do to ‘tap into’ God’s strength? What is

it about your relationship Him with that strengthens you to

do all things? There are three main ways to do this:

1. Trust that God’s Word is true, and live accordingly in

your dependence on Him.

2. Hold onto God as your stability.

3. Allow God to fill you as you “drink” from Him as your

main source.

When you learn to fully rely on God for your strength, it is

only then that you can be capable of doing what He has

called you to do. For example, let’s say a mechanic has two

cars - a Ford and a Mercedes. Imagine what might happen if

that same mechanic tried to put a Mercedes tyre on a Ford

car!

- It just wouldn’t work.

- It wouldn’t even fit.

- It’s the wrong car!

So it is with God's will. You are trying to do His will, but you

are using the wrong energy and trying to apply the wrong

strength. Instead of strength and energy that comes from

God, you are using the energy and strength that comes

from other sources:

- Addictions

- Self-reliance

- Reasoning

- Intelligence

- Knowledge

- Wisdom

The Lesson Cont'd

You are getting it from your own sources and not from the

throne room. You are applying the wrong energy that is not

equally matched to the task at hand - just like the car that can

no longer move!

If you are applying the wrong energy, then you cannot move

in destiny and you cannot do God’s will because your energy

and your source will never work with it. This is what the

Apostle Paul meant. He spoke about this a lot - Christ being

our strength. Paul always engaged himself in God’s energy.

Because of God’s energy, everything became possible for

Paul. When you choose to do everything through God, all

avenues become open to you.

However, when you don’t operate through God’s strength

and God’s energy, then you will not have the supernatural

power needed for the task. I am challenging you to seek

Heaven and engage the white energy that is in the presence

of God. Fill yourselves up with His energy.

It works:

- When you are tired

- When you are out of passion

- When you feel low

- When you have lost interest

- When you feel you are not up to the task

You can seek Heaven and drink of and engage this energy.

Perhaps you’re reading this, thinking, “but it doesn’t work

like that!” The problem is, when God asks us to drink, we only

do it for 5 mins.

When God asks us to rest, we only do it for a few minutes.

When God asks us to engage trust, we only do 2% - so you

feel that it’s not working.

Instead, you must persevere; you must push and push and be

a person who endures until they cross the bridge and get into

that place where you can feel the rest - where you can feel

God’s energy and presence deeply.

You must push past your flesh and beyond yourself. Ian

Clayton says it’s all about surrender and sacrifice. This is how

he gets things:

He will engage in something diligently for months and years.

CHAPTER 2 S E C T I O N

Finding Strength in Me: Part I

The Lesson Cont'd

The Lesson Cont'd

So what does it mean to engage in diligently in our

relationship with God? Here, it’s about prayer. Diligently

seek Him in prayer every day – we’ve talked about being

still and listening to Him, and that’s definitely part of it.

But it’s also about seeking Him and His guidance; asking

for His strength when you feel like you don’t have any.

You must learn to push yourself beyond the flesh and

everything that you know, until you cross that bridge and

that thing becomes your new normal that you live in. This is

what God is teaching us. We are not doing it enough to see

that change. You are getting away with doing the bare

minimum, and it’s not working.

What you may not realise is that we are living in a both a

spiritual and a physical world, and that our world is so

deeply embedded in spiritual roots! So we are in need of

God’s love and presence now more than ever, to protect

against the powers of darkness.

God is saying to us that we do not realise the proportions

of these things. We do not see it the way He sees it. You

are blind to it when you are 80% influenced by darkness.

In that case, you need 120% of God’s Glory. In reality, we

have 80% darkness but are only engaging 20% with

Heaven.

We must push through; you must sacrifice yourself and

push and push until you attain this balance and see

change. 5 minutes just won’t cut it in a prayer, whether

you’re praying as a group or on your own. You need to be

persistent. You may need to engage 5 mins of every

waking hour and keep pushing for an entire week, if

that’s what it takes.

So, rely on God’s strength. You can only do it through Him.

You must just say, “I surrender, and I am going to do it

through you.”

Be it sessions, keys, cultures, work etc., you must push

through into God’s energy for everything and rely on His

source so that you can be the achiever of everything you are

meant to be. Relying on God’s strength is another way of

staying in rest.

Give yourself goals.

Dear God,

Pray Today

Only you know how much influence of darkness there is

over my life.

Help me to rely on Your strength.

Help me to be persistent in prayer and achieve

spiritual balance with You.

Help me to be in rest, because I will be resting in Your

strength.

It’s helpful to give yourself a goal. For instance, “I am going

to engage this for one week and see where I will be.” You

keep engaging it, until you completely dwell on that energy

and the energy never leaves you, because you will have

conditioned your body to attain it and to engage with

Heaven on that level. It’s all about conditioning your body -

that’s what the practice is all about.

CHAPTER 3 S E C T I O N

Finding Strength in Me: Part 2

Verse

Exodus 15:2

The Lord is my strength and my song; He has given me

victory.

The Lesson Cont'd

God allowed the Apostles to see the full picture and work

accordingly - that’s why they could impact the world in such

a short time. But for many of us, we are unaware of God’s

timeline and that’s why it takes us so long to do things.

What Next?

Jesus says:

The Lesson

Finding strength in Me is like an old man who knows that he

needs a stick to walk with. There are two pictures; you think

that you are this great super hero who can do so many

things. But in fact, you are a frail old man and that frail old

man cannot get to the finish line without using a stick. The

man relies on that stick. I am the stick that keeps you going.

It’s the same thing when it comes to strength. You need me

to get there. Because in the Kingdom, you don’t have the

strength that you think you have. In the Kingdom, you must

rely on Me. There’s no two ways about it - if you don’t use

the stick, then you can’t even walk all the way. You will fall.

So, you must rely on me. Usually I see you trying to do

things on your own, but I know you will not finish that thing

and you will not execute it. Like I said, you need My energy

and you need Me to be the source.

How do you think the Apostles did it? How did they manage

to travel for so long while continuing to preach, all the while

rejoicing as they went? How do you think they overcame

the evil forces around them? Did you know that the

Apostles were the only people in history who walked exactly

according to God’s timeline? They were not ahead; nor were

they behind. No one in all creation apart from Jesus has ever

achieved this! This is because the Apostles were so filled

with the Holy Spirit, that their lives were completely guided

by God’s timeline and purpose for them.

So it is with us - if you want to stay within God’s timelines,

then you need the Holy Spirit. The Apostles had the ability to

see the timelines of God from His perspective; they could

move in and out of His timeline, engaging with both a

heavenly and earthly view.

We can ask Father to engage our timelines. We can do this by:

Entering into God’s courts;

Asking Him to help you engage your timeline;

Asking Him to take you to the heavenly dimension that

allows you to view things from His perspective.

In your timeline, God will show you where you are and

where you ought to be.

If you want to catch up with your timeline, you need My

strength. Often, people like to do certain things on their own,

saying, “When I have done this and that, I will come back to

God’s plans.” Even when you have gone astray, you need to

come back to My timeline. You will need My strength.

Remember that you are different in the spirit. You are not

the way you think. You can only thrive through Me. You

using that stick which is Me is you trusting in Me. It’s

showing that you trust Me to help you walk this life. So, rely

on me on for:

• Your keys

• Your business

• Your workplace

You need that stick to get through.

Pray Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help me to live in Your timeline.

Help me to walk in Your strength as I go about my daily

tasks.

Allow me to see things how You would see them,

And help me to see things from the perspective of Heaven.

CHAPTER 4 S E C T I O N

Stay on Top of It

Verses

The Lesson

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens

me. Phil 4:12.

1 Corinthians 9:26:

Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

26. Accordingly, I don’t run aimlessly but straight for

the finish line; I don’t shadow-box but try to make

every punch count.

27. I treat my body hard and make it my slave so

that, after proclaiming the Good News to others, I

myself will not be disqualified.

21st Century King James Version (KJ21):

26. I therefore so run, but not with uncertainty; I so

fight, but not as one that beateth the air.

27.But I keep control of my body, and bring it into

subjection, lest that by any means, when I have

preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

The Message (MSG)

26-27. I don’t know about you, but I’m running hard

for the finish line. I’m giving it everything I’ve got.

No sloppy living for me! I’m staying alert and in top

condition.

I’m not going to get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it

and then missing out myself.

I know that there are many things to engage, many journals to do,

many beings to engage, so much to learn in such a short time.

Jesus says:

Tasks, duties and keys [specific instructions God gives us to get

through each season] will never end. They will always be there. It’s

our personal responsibility to learn how to tackle these things and

stay on top of them. The more you walk with Holy Spirit, He will

teach you more and more how to be responsible and how to stay on

top of everything you need to do.

When you don’t stay on top of things, your spirituality decreases,

because you become consumed by the many tasks you need to do.

Your time becomes governed by the many keys that you must

engage. It takes your focus away from just seeking and knowing Me.

You end up with an unbalanced lifestyle because you are supposed to

seek Me as well as doing your keys. Yes, your daily tasks are a part of

that, but they can at times crowd you, leaving you burnt out and

forgetting to seek Me in the busyness. It is only by putting Me first,

and growing through My strength that the perfect balance can be

achieved. So, you need to learn to seek My strength and to be led by

Me.

However, many people do not want to be led, and they don’t want to

be told what to do. If you are going to succeed in Christianity and in

My ways and know how to be a son, you will have to be led. This is

the only way we can stay on top of things.

CHAPTER 4 S E C T I O N

Stay on Top of It

Jesus says:

The Lesson Cont'd

This is the way the Apostles did it. They took charge and they

were always on top of their tasks and their responsibilities.

They knew what to do, how to do it and when to do it. They

were successful as people and as sons on Earth.

If you are going to be successful on this Earth, you will need

to rely on the Holy Spirit to lead you in everything you do.

Otherwise, you cannot make it.

In this next season, you are going to have to learn how to

work with and follow the Holy Spirit. I want you to become

acquainted with Holy Spirit. It’s the Holy Spirit who imparts

us with heavenly strength.

Dear Lord,

Pray Today

Please allow me to prioritise my time better and allow the

Holy Spirit to guide what I am doing.

Help me to allow the Holy Spirit to show me Your timeline,

according to the perspective of Heaven.

Help me to do Your will.

Amen.

The Lord needs and wants us to become more acquainted

with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is like a bridge – He is

the One who brings things from Heaven and imparts them to

us.

If we want strength and productivity or whatever we need,

He is the One who does it. We need to start learning how to

walk with the Holy Spirit.

Paul was very busy and accomplished so much. He was

writing, speaking, teaching and travelling all at once - going

through hardships and persecutions. Paul had the greatest of

experiences with God while growing and developing in God.

He relied on God, drank from God all the time- being directed

by him like satellite navigation.

He was acquainted with Holy Spirit and getting his strength

from Jesus. He knew that if he didn’t do this, he would fall

short. He would find himself in a place of weakness in the

moments when he hadn’t spent time with Jesus. He would fail

like anyone else.

So likewise, for us to be able to do God’s will- to be able to do

our keys plus engage Him and learn – we need to be led by

the Holy Spirit...but no one wants that! Instead, we are led by

ancestors, demons and principalities. We need to learn to

come out from all these other things and lean on the Holy

Spirit to guide us and lead us. Be still and know that He is

God.

CHAPTER 5

Seeing Beyond What You Are Seeing

Verse

Revelation 4:1

After this I looked, and there before me was a door

standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first

heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up

here, and I will show you what must take place after

this.”

The Lesson Cont'd

Many of you are going through a lot of darkness and hard seasons.

You are in a season where you must let go of many things and

make numerous decisions, but if you don’t see why, you will

struggle. If you don’t see with your spiritual eyes, them you won't

see why you must let go of these things. It becomes difficult, and

you will struggle with your faith and your trust.

The Lesson

In every situation, look deeper. Most of the times, in most of

the things you encounter in life, there’s a deeper meaning.

This deeper meaning contains the truth about that situation.

You need to see beyond what you are seeing and that means

living from above. When you are living from above, you can

see things the way they are in true form.

God is saying that He wants us to elevate our sight to see

what He is seeing. God takes this seriously. Most of the time,

we see things and think about them a certain way. We

interpret these things according to the limitations of our own

theologies, culture, traditions, bondages, hurts and pains -

filters.

Jesus says: I want you to see what I see- with the same eye

that I see. This will require you to always stay above and to

always stay with Me.

David says, “better is one day in my house than a thousand

elsewhere.” It’s better to transcend and sit with Jesus

wherever He is and see things from His perspective than stay

on this Earth plane. That’s why we are struggling with faith

and struggling with belief; that’s why you are struggling with

trust, if we are here.

However, if you learn to come up here as in Revelation 4:1

and stay on top, you will see from His perspective on. It’s a

discipline. You must stay up there all the time, and if you

don’t learn this, you will feel victimised by life. You will be

victimised by demons, ancestors, powers etc.; You are

vulnerable to many things and your environment.

Dear Lord,

So, see deeper:

• See in-depth;

• See with your eyes of faith;

• See with revelation and with understanding;

• See with your spiritual eyes what the Lord is saying to you today.

Because the answers are there, you must come up there because

everything you try to interpret yourself will be filtered by what

the enemy is saying to you; it will be filtered by what the world is

saying to you. It will be filtered by what the people are saying to

you. So, you must come up here and when you do, the vision will

be clear.

Then what I am saying will be clear, and when you understand it

from that point of view, your faith will not waiver. When you are

moving around and around in circles – your faith is already

shipwrecked!

Most people in the wilderness may feel as though they are moving,

but in actual fact, they are not moving at all. Their faith is

shipwrecked - be careful that your faith is not shipwrecked this

season. Check your faith! Do you see what you are supposed to see?

Do you understand what you are supposed to understand? Learn to

come up here; learn to keep rising. This will be your daily

challenge! You must practise it: Lord I don’t know what this

situation is about, but I choose to rise as I want to see what is

happening in the spiritual realm. Be a spirit led person - the Spirit

can only lead you if you are engaging with the spirit realm

So, as we engage with the spirit realm, the Spirit of the Lord will

show you the truth you need to know about everything. You need

to practise it and when you practise it and stay above, you will then

learn to be at rest, because the truth will be there, but you will not

waiver and you will be still. You will be with one mind, not doubleminded.

See what I am seeing.

Pray Today

Please remind me to keep rising.

Show me the things I need to know

And allow me to engage in the spirit realm,

Help me to be led by the Holy Spirit. Amen

CHAPTER 6

Above and Beyond: Part I

Verses

Jeremiah 29:13

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me

with all your heart.

Psalm 16:11

You will make known to me the path of life; In Your

presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there

are pleasures forever.

Jesus says:

The Lesson

I want to teach about looking above and beyond. I want to

teach you about taking things further. Most of the time

when you enter My presence, you come there of your own

accord - you want to know Me, but it is all scheduled

according to your time. You say to yourself, “I am going to

spend an hour with God,” or, “I am going to spend 30

minutes with God.” But no one just comes and says, “Lord I

am here; let me know when you are finished with me.”

No one lets go of control. I must work around people’s

schedules and try to fit in. You need to look above and

beyond the here and now - and that means let go of what

you think. It is not about what is going on in your situation

or in that day, and it’s not about what you need to do next. I

want you to freely come to Me, and I want you to spend time

with Me- not knowing all the details about how long or what

to talk about. You must break that control, and you will find

that the Holy Spirit will use you more.

The more you surrender, the more you become usable in the

kingdom.

The more you let go of control, the more Heaven invades

your life. What does it look like to completely let go of

control? It means to let go of your perceptions, thoughts and

how you think - just because you think a certain way doesn’t

mean it is correct. If you can, let go of that for the sake of the

Kingdom; then you will see Heaven move in your life and

lead your life. You need to trust that I know everything. I

know that you only have 30 mins before doing a school run!

I know that. Just trust! Come believing that I know how your

day is supposed to be; let yourself just trust Me.

The Lesson Cont'd

I want people to start coming into My presence without

control- letting go of themselves. Don’t just stick to prayer

routines. This is not to say you don’t have them. I mean just

come in rest and you will see that our time will be so much

better. If you do things with Me, I will lead you into the next

thing because everything you do is important to Me. The

enemy has lied to people that I am not caring; that I am not

sensitive to people’s time and their lives; that it is all about

Me. So, you find that people are afraid of surrendering, of not

having that control, because they feel like, “I need to be in

control or otherwise, this God will control me.” Control can

never be found in Me, because I am a perfect God. I can lead

you, knowing that when you do this or that, it will be the best

for you. That’s my nature - and it can never bend.

So, look above and beyond yourself, your day, your family,

chores, work and money. Think about Heaven, intimacy…

think about your destiny. Think about your scroll [a scroll is a

book that contains what we are called to be in this life]. Every

day when you wake up, you must start investing in your

scroll, investing in your destiny and future; and you must

think about that all the time. You have to say, “Today I will

spend so much time with God and the things God has said

about my destiny because I must focus on my future. I have

to look above and beyond today. I must reach my destiny

because God wants me to. So, I must look beyond my day, my

money or my work. I need to look at that destiny that lies

ahead. It may seem far, but I need to look at that.”

How I spend my time every day contributes to whether you

will reach that destiny, because every day is a day that God

has given to you for investment. He has given it to you so

that you may invest your day - every minute and every hour

- into your future. If you don’t use it, Father is saying, “Child,

you need to look above and beyond.”

It’s not just about today - it’s about what is in your future.

What is in your destiny? What can you invest in today that

will contribute to your scroll? If you are not contributing to

it, there’s no likelihood that you will reach your destiny.

Look above and beyond.

Heavenly Father,

Pray Today

Please show me what I should invest my time in today.

Shed some light on the ways I can contribute to my scroll.

Help me to give control over to You, and to remember that

you are Lord of my time. Help me to see things from above

and beyond.

CHAPTER 7

Above and Beyond: Part II

Verses

The Lesson Cont'd

Proverbs 16:3

Commit to the LORD whatever you do,

and He will establish your plans.

The Lesson

I want to talk a bit about the following chapter. Part two

takes on more of a focus about mapping your destiny. I want

you to map your destiny. If your scroll says, for example,

that you will be a teacher or an educator, I want you to say,

“Father I want you to expand this for me; I want to see how

this looks like. What steps can I take to be that teacher of the

Word, that teacher in the school, whatever teacher you mean

for me to be.” Look above and have a map for your scroll.

Many people are often taken on alternative destinies; they

end up in things they are not supposed to be in.

They go on a path that may seem right, thinking it is a godly

move, yet the enemy may be taking them on another path.

That’s why it is very important to know your scroll and to

know how you are going to execute each point on your scroll.

That map will guide you on what you need to do and how

you need to do it. Your destiny may require a heavy input,

depending on what it says: some are called to be teachers,

but some are called to be headmasters. Those two require

different input or investments. Some people have big

destinies, but that’s not to say others have small destinies. I

am only saying that some people are called to higher

positions, which means your investment needs to be heavier

than others.

So, investigate your scroll! Look at it and say, “Lord, I’m

going to go above and beyond, and I’m going to invest so

much time so that I can become the person you have called

me to be.” I want you to invite The trinity to your prayer

time, sit with us and say, “Holy Spirit, what do you think of

this?” or, “Jesus what do you think I should do?” Then let Me

be your guide, because many people are influenced by the

things around them, the people around them, by their

environment and even by religion and/or ministry. You may

think you are going in the way that is right, but in fact, you

may be wasting time.

Perhaps you are stagnant somewhere, but you think you are

moving; or you may be pursuing something that is not wrong

but it’s not my plan for you. So, you need to be careful. That’s

why I say to look above and beyond, because it’s not about

your situation or what’s around you. You need to look further -

and that’s the same thing I want to encourage you concerning

your scrolls. Have a vision for the vision. Your scroll is your

vision, but now have a vision for your scroll. That’s what we

call the ‘how to’.

You have something to aim for, but now you need the ‘how to’,

because that will take you to the execution point and then

things will flow. You may need to spend 5 hours in God’s

presence just to be that Prophet- just to be that Apostle who

goes to nations.

You need ask, “What is my price?” Some people are paying a

higher price than you, but that’s not for you to compare

yourself and question why that person is not paying the same

price as you. I don’t want you to look at other people, because

every scroll is different. Your cross may be heavier than the

person next to you - but that’s okay- you must keep going. It

just means there’s something bigger about your destiny, so

carry the cross until the finishing line. You need to know

yourself.

Destiny is not only about knowing where you are headed, but

it is also about knowing yourself. It’s about knowing what you

must do. It’s about taking responsibility; it’s about coming into

maturity. You can only come into maturity when you take

control of your destiny and when you become responsible for

the things that God has given you. You need to take control of

the things he has given you, because if you don’t, then you

cannot step into maturity. God will not hand you the things He

wants to hand you.

God cannot entrust you with anything, because He can see you

have not become responsible. You must show Him that you are

responsible. If your scroll says you are going to be a musician,

then say, “Lord, I’m going to practice 3 times a day.” That’s you

taking responsibility for the things He has placed in your

hands.

If you don’t do that, God cannot entrust you with platforms,

with people, with opportunities and open doors. He must wait

for you. Look above and beyond, don’t just look at your scroll

and say, “One day, it will come to pass.” No! God has given it to

you now - so what are you going to do with it? How much

investment do you need to put in every day? What do you need

to do to make sure it comes to pass? Just to be that excellent

preacher; that excellent prophet; to be that excellent musician.

You need a plan and you need to take responsibility.

The Lesson Cont'd

CHAPTER 7

Above and Beyond: Part II

The Prayer

He only entrusts His inheritance with those who choose to

take responsibility- a principle found in Galatians 4:1. Think

of it this way. If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his

young children, those children are not much better off than

slaves until they grow up... even though they own everything

their father had.

Wake up and say, “I’m going to take responsibility for my

Christian life; for my destiny. How will I contribute to it

today? What am I going to do today to get closer to God, for

intimacy, to be free?”

Dear Lord,

I thank You for having my scroll already written out.

Please help me to see the ‘how to’ of my scroll, and to live it

out.

Help me to stick to Your plan in reaching my destiny.

Help me to follow Your direction for my life.

We are all coming into a season of maturity and

responsibility, because God has already poured out so much

on us. He has already given us our scrolls; He has already

shown us what He wants us to become. He has given us the

keys and tool and now He is saying, “What will you do?”

Will you look above and beyond your situation, your

limitations, the things that block you and put you down,

depression and hopelessness, doubts and unbeliefs and do

what God wants you to do, so that you can find yourself in

the place that you are supposed to be in?

It’s a season of:

• Responsibility

• Maturity

• Inheritance

• Trusting God

He wants to give us our inheritance, but we must take

responsibility.

CHAPTER 8

Total Reliance on God

Jeremiah 17: 5-9

Verses

Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and

makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from

the Lord. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any

good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the

wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. “Blessed is the man

who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a

tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream,

and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain

green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not

cease to bear fruit.” The heart is deceitful above all

things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?

Jesus says:

The Lesson

I want to talk about total reliance on Me. Many times, there are

things that you have relied on. You rely on your spouse, on

your kids, on the system, on the government, on a friend

because different things are able to meet different needs. You

might rely on your kids or husband for company, love and

comfort.

You might rely on the government to help with your finances;

on your friends for fun or conversation and you may rely on

your job for all the bills to be paid. So many times, when people

come to me, they pray, “Father, we love You, honour You and

trust in You,” but they forget that they trust in a lot of other

things that surround them and they exclude Me from that

equation.

What l want to teach people is to strip that reliance away from

all those things and to start having total reliance on Me. I don’t

mean that you keep away from people, or that you don’t have a

job, or you don’t have all those things. These things are still

there, but l need to become the source of all things - your

comfort, your friend, your company - the one who gives you

conversations. I need to become the one who’s giving you this

money and who shows you what job to go to or what business

to open. l need to become everything that you need.

This is a walk that all Christians have failed in; and this is a

walk that people haven’t really achieved. They go on as

Christians, but always end up settling in the middle. They find

out that they can’t be extraordinary Christians; they are just

mediocre, normal Christians without power or authority,

because they have placed so many idols in their lives that they

rely on. But by the power of the Holy Spirit, you can now begin

to have a relationship with me.

The Lesson Cont'd

You can break that reliance and you can say: “l will rely on

Father God to give me strength today. I will rely on Father God

to give me comfort today or give me love. l will not go and get it

from my husband. l will get it from God first, because when God

gives it to me, l will become full enough to be around people and

empower them - refresh them instead of taking from them.”

People who take from others do so because they can’t be filled

up by me, so they keep taking from people. They keep taking

your time; they keep taking your kindness. They keep taking

things from you, but it’s also because they are unable to rely on

Me for those things.

You must change from being a taker and become a giver. The

only way you can change is when you start trusting and relying

on God Himself. When you wake up today and feel like you don’t

have the strength to do anything, you don’t feel like you can

work or engage your scroll or you don’t feel like you can do

anything at all, run to Me.

In most scenarios, you will either go to your partner or your

friend, or go to an addiction and find some sort of distraction -

whatever it is you turn to fill you up . Then you go to work. So,

your source isn’t God. You just come to God to fulfil a religious

routine to say that you have prayed and read the Bible, but

being with Me is a practical experience. Everything must be

practical with Me – I’m not a dead God!

I am alive, vibrant, fun, full of life - and I am Life. So, you must

come to the giver of life to show you and give you the strength

you need to take on each day. You need total reliance on Me. So

you can start asking, “How am l going to build total reliance on

Him?”

This comes from making these daily decisions and knowing

yourself. You have to be able to say, “l feel like l need peace,” or,

“l feel like l need assurance”; “l feel like l need an affirmation” -

but look at where you are going to get it! Are you going to get it

from your own well or are you going to go to Jesus - the well; the

fountain? Are you going to drink from Him or are you going to

drink from your own well ?

Many people have built their own wells. Look at the woman at

the well - she had built up her own well and she was drinking

from those men. She had been with 5 men already. She was

getting her identity and her comfort from those men. She was

getting her affirmation in life and her vision was all centred on

those 5 men and on this life. Her life was a life of prostitution

and instability. That’s where she got her strength and

everything she needed. That fulfilled her. Even for us today, we

have our own wells that we have created, and we drink from

them every single day, both knowingly and unknowingly.

The Lesson Cont'd

CHAPTER 8

Total Reliance on God

Pray Today

Some people drink from their kids - their kids are the centre of

their lives. They live through their kids, and they live for their

kids. Without their kids, they don’t exist. It’s not even love

anymore - they have become their addiction- it is an obsession.

They take from their kids, and they get the energy from there.

They get the affirmation, the success, shine and youth, then

hide behind their kids. It’s as if their kids are their shine and

identity. They say their kid is doing well, and they hide behind

that shine, but these people don’t have an identity of their own.

Dear God,

Help me to learn to rely on You.

So many times, I have looked to family or friends for the

comfort and strength that I know only comes from You.

Remind me that You are first, and that you are enough.

I want you to demolish all the wells you have and start building

a well with Me. l am the well. l am the Fountain of life. l am the

God who will satisfy every need and the key is to find your own

identity in Me and be confident. You should know yourself and

who you are, and how much you are loved and accepted by

God. You must be confident in that and stop hiding your

identity so that other things do not steal it. You don’t have to

hide behind your husband or job. For some people, their jobs

are the centre of their lives. These people would crumble

without a job.

If God told them to leave their jobs, they would cry and that

would be the end of them. Again, it’s because that’s become

your identity, an accountant or a personal trainer - whatever it

is, your identity has become that thing and your reliance is no

longer on Me. If you are fully relying on me, then you don’t

need anything else to define yourself. You don’t need to drink

from anyone else, because you know who you are. You are a

son who only drinks from the fountain of living water, from the

well of Jesus Christ, the living God. So today the message is

about reliance on Me fully. Turn your affections to Me. Turn

your problems, needs, wants, desires and passions to Me.

l want to become your addiction. If you want conversation, run

to me. Come to me for affirmation; for any type of satisfaction.

Because even some people who run to sex for satisfaction, l can

give you that same level of satisfaction- not physically, but

there’s a satisfaction equivalent to that in the spirit; l can give

that to you. l have all things - everything you want on this

Earth; everything you need is all in me.

Let me become your addiction so that you can fully rely on Me.

And when you rely on Me, it will become much easier to fulfil

destiny and you will become a person of identity. You’ll be a

person who can truly minister to others and do the works of

God, because you know yourself and don’t need anything

because you are fully content just like how the Bible says to be.

Your contentment comes from God - so be content. Like Paul

said, “l can do all things through Christ Jesus and l am content.”

He said he didn’t need anything. Why? because Jesus is enough.

Everything is in Jesus, so there is nothing that can supersede

him. He is the way, the truth and the life. We can totally rely on

Him.

CHAPTER 9

The Power of Choice: Part I

The Lesson Cont'd

Joshua 24: 14-15

“Now therefore fear the LORD and serve him in sincerity and

in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served

beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. 15 And if it

is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom

you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the

region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose

land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the

LORD.”

You have to know and remember to ask, “Lord, what do I need to do

to maintain my victory? I need to sustain it, but there may be some

practical tools that I need to do daily.” That may look like going to the

courts, continuously talking to God about what’s going on in your

journey, fasting, meditating on words and truths – different things –

for you to maintain your healing. But many people don’t know that.

Many people don’t do it. Again, this shows a lack of responsibility and

the failure to choose.

The Lesson

Jesus says:

t you to know that you have a choice. Most times you may feel as

though life has placed you in a box and that there is no choice for

you to make. Even when it comes to the bondage that you’re in, you

may think, “I didn’t choose this bondage, so God must do something

about it.”

I know you didn’t choose your bondage, but that’s not how it works.

You may not have chosen it, but previous family members have, and

so it is now in your bloodline. But here’s where you can make the

change: it’s up to you, as the person standing before me, to now take

up your sword and shield and fight for that deliverance.

Fight and take back what the enemy stole from you. It is now your

responsibility; it is not about being a victim and waiting for me to

rescue you. It’s about you now saying, “Father, I have seen this in

my bloodline; I have seen what I am going through and I am going

to choose to take responsibility and I am going to fight through

WITH You, not against You.”

When you cooperate with me, we will always get through the battle

and get onto the next side together. But you must choose to take

that responsibility. Many just sit on the fence, waiting for me to

rescue them and do something miraculous. But it doesn’t always

work like that.

What steps are you taking each day to aid your healing? What steps

are you taking every day to ensure that you are staying in victory?

You can gain victory today, but that doesn’t mean that you are

going to sustain it. It is not just about gaining it today and it

remaining there forever. Remember, there are things that will come

against that victory, which is where your responsibility, once again,

comes in.

Pray Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you that I have a choice.

Help me to always choose Yur way.

Guide me in everything I do and say along the way.

Amen.

YOU HAVE A CHOICE.

Jesus says: I have given a choice to all of mankind and so

everything you are going through is all down to a choice.

Somebody within your family and bloodline made a choice to

engage with the evil world.

So, you need to break those things through making another

choice. You need to make a choice to come out of those things

that are oppressing you.

I want you to know that God never really saves those who come to

Him as victims. He saves people that come to Him in identity,

because they are the ones who know themselves; they understand

who they are and know that they are sons; they know their role

and know the Father's role.

They come with humility and say, “I am facing this. Help me,

Lord? and I am going to choose this decision.” So, you must decide.

Most importantly, speaking about the area of healing: people act

very much like victims and therefore tend to stay in the same

place and never move on.

The enemy keeps them stagnant in that place. If you continue to

think of yourself and see yourself as a victim, you will always

remain stagnant. You will never move on. A person who can

progress and go anywhere in life is the one who chooses to take

responsibility. The one who chooses to step into maturity. The one

who decides. You’ve got to decide.

So, the power of choice lies in your hands. YOU have that power, If

you choose God’s way - the right way, then you’ll end up on the

right path.

If you don’t choose, then you’ll end up on the wrong path.

Whether you choose or not, somebody will always make the

decision for you. If you do not choose, then the enemy will make

that decision for you.

It’s better for you to make the decision rather than having the

enemy make it for you. Never allow him to make the decision for

you, always make it yourself. Take a step forward and God will

help you in that decision.

You have that choice.

CHAPTER 10

The Power of Choice: Part II

The Lesson Cont'd

John 16:33: I have said these things to you, that in me

you may have peace. In the world you will have

tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Jesus says:

The Lesson

Again, the power of choice! You can choose to live in victory or

can choose to live down below where the enemy dwells.

As I said, I came to Earth to give you victory…so victory is

already in your hands! The problem is that you do not know

how to obtain it. You do not know how to use that victory, but

it’s already been done for you. Just as I said in the Bible, it’s

already done for you. I’ve already overcome for you. I’ve

already died for your sins.

But most people choose not to participate in those things that I

have done for them. They choose to stay down below, where

they are consumed by the affairs of the world, consumed by

their families, their friends and everything that’s going on

around them.

They are consumed by the enemy. However, if they were just

to go a little bit higher, above those things and if they stayed in

a place of faith and a place of having a different perspective,

then they’d see that they’re living in a place of victory all the

time.

You can choose to ascend. You can choose to live in that victory

that I bought for you. Most people choose to live down here.

They live in a place full of attacks, demonic powers, ancestors

and all these things are still eating them up because they

choose to stay down below. They refuse to come up higher -

refuse to see things from a different perspective.

They refuse to be like a plane. When a plane is flying in the air, it

stays up because that is the only way for it to get to that

destination. Imagine if the plane went up and down constantly:

it’s impractical and it would never reach its destination!

If you stayed like a plane, up there, and if you just stayed still and

kept going, you’d receive that victory. Again, all this is your choice.

You choose to stay below the ‘snake line’ (below the veil) , but

instead, you can choose to go beyond the veil every single day.

You can choose to say, “Father God, I am going through the veil

today, and I am going to experience You repeatedly. No matter

what happens – I know that I will get back-lash, and that I will get

attacked; I know that different things in me will rise and that the

enemy will come against me – but I am going to step forward! I

am going to choose this.

It is your responsibility to do this. Heaven will keep pulling you up

and up. You will have more heavenly help when you choose to do

heavenly things. But if you do not choose to do heavenly things

and not bother and give up, then you cannot have that help.

Heaven only operates through the power of choice. Heaven needs

you to choose. It is waiting for those who choose. Just like the

Bible says, “All creation is waiting for the manifestation of sons.”

[Romans 8:19] – that scripture is talking about those who CHOOSE

to rise up as sons.

It’s about those who CHOOSE to stay up like that plane- those who

CHOOSE to press into sonship and be who they’re supposed to be.

Creation is waiting for people who will make good choices and

take a step forward.

There are those who will say ‘I’m coming out of my comfort zone,

out of this earth, and I am going to live in a higher realm.Heaven is

waiting for those people. That is what that scripture is all about.

The Lesson Cont'd

CHAPTER 10

The Power of Choice: Part II

The Lesson Cont'd

Creation is asking:

Is there going be a son who is going to rule over this nation?

Is there going to be a son that will rule over the animals?

Is there going to be a son that will speak to the plants?

Is there going to be a son who will speak to the government?

Is there going to be a son who will nurture and take care of the

Earth?

Is there going to be a son who will govern the galaxies?

Is there going to be a son that will rise over the demonic

entities and powers of this world?

We are all waiting, EAGERLY. That word eagerly means

anxious. If you do not choose to live in sonship today, then you

will not choose.

Sonship happens over time, but it is a daily choice.

Sonship will only happen if you make these DAILY choices.

That’s the only way it will and can happen.

You make them so much until you reach sonship.

Don’t look at it as something that is far away, like, “Sonship is

somewhere out there – “I’ll reach it one day” – NO – sonship is

something that is formed, and YOU must form it.

The choices that you make are the things that are shaping you

into who you are going to be.

So, if you are choosing the right things that God wants you to

choose, then you will be formed into a son.

But if you are not choosing those things, then the process

cannot happen because to be a son means making the right

choices daily. The only way it works.

It’s the only way it works.

So, my children, listen…

Do not stay below, come up high.

Do not stay under his attacks, come up high!

You can rule over those attacks and over those demonic powers;

It’s what you choose. It’s what you believe and what you know.

If you know that you are a king, then you would not tolerate

attacks.

If you know that you are a king, then you would not tolerate theft.

If you know that you are a king, then you would not tolerate the

enemy’s ways - you will rise above them!

So, you’ve got to fight! Just as a king has his kingdom,

do you think a thief could go into his kingdom and be tolerated?

Do you think the thief, if found, would be set free?

NO. The king would persecute the thief. He would either be

arrested or hanged.

That is the same attitude that you should have. It doesn’t mean go

and fight every demon. I am saying that you should always be in

the position of kingship – knowing that you are in charge of the

things that you own and that you are the one who can choose right

or wrong.

Then, according to what you choose, YOU receive the

consequences of your choice. So, you can choose to be with God

and to trust God with your choices every day.

YOU have the power to choose.

Dear Lord,

Pray Today

Please continue to help me in all of my decisions.

Help me to seek You, and help me to always choose the right

path for my journey.

Being with the Father

The Lesson Cont'd

Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No

one comes to the Father except through me…. Anyone who

has seen me has seen the Father.” (John 14:6,9)

Jesus says:

The Lesson

I want you to know that you can be with Me all the time

wherever you are. I want you to know that you can get past

the wounds from your earthly father, and you can get past the

things that stop you from getting close to Me.

I want you to know that you can seek Me and that you will

find Me. I am the Father. I am that Father whom many people

do not find. People do find Jesus and know who Jesus is, but

many don’t know who I am. I am part of the Trinity. Many do

not engage with Me. I long to see Sons coming to me.

I long to see Sons seeking Me out. I long to see them taking

over the world and seating on different mountains, but many

do not reach Me- they reach Jesus and stop there; they see the

cross and stop there.

Being with Me and knowing Me is about taking a step further

,and that’s what I want you to do- to take that step further.

Know me and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is in front of us; when you

know Him, then come and know Us as well. You cannot know

Me and not know the Holy Spirit.

Many know Jesus but do not know Me and the Holy Spirit, but

i’s not very easy to know me and not know the Holy Spirit or

to know Holy Spirit and not know Me. It’s just the way it

works. I sent Jesus to you so that you can know Him and

through Him you can also know Me.

However, many people have not gone past that stage; many

people still stay at the cross, but what is beyond the cross?

This is what I want you to seek:

I want you to be hungry for the revelations.

I want you to be hungry for the mystic realm.

I want you to be hungry for what I have in heaven.

Many people only stay at the stage where they ask Jesus to be with

them, to be their protector, and to be their provider - and they ask

Jesus for many other things and that’s fine. However, knowing Me

and knowing God is about knowing the Trinity – knowing the 3 of

Us. The 3 in 1.

Intimacy is about knowing all of Us. You will never be intimate if

you do not know all of Us. You may have only reached a certain

stage. You may have ended at the cross and you only know what

the cross did for you, but you must go deeper and deeper.

My challenge for you is:

How far are you going to search?

How deep are you going to go?

What are you going to sacrifice to find intimacy

For you to find Me the Father and the Holy Spirit?

I long for people who can seek Me like that;

I long for people who are not afraid to take risks;

I long for people who are not stuck in routines.

But instead, they are led by me and they seek to look deeper, and

they want to search for more and more. There is so much more to

Heaven, than what the Bible has given you. There is so much more

to Heaven than what men of God have taught you. There is so

much more than what you already know. You can go deeper and

deeper; you can seek and search and know more.

I am challenging you to come deeper, come deeper, come deeper.

Find intimacy. When you know My heart, you will find life. When

you know My heart, the heart of the Holy Spirit and the heart of

Jesus and know all three of our hearts, you can engage all 3 of us.

That’s deep intimacy.

It’s all about knowing the Father. You must know the Godhead.

The Father and I know your tribe. Many of you have father

wounds; Many of you have had fathers who left you. Many of you

have had fathers who were harsh, mean and authoritative. Maybe

your father was around but wasn’t emotionally connected to you.

CHAPTER 11

Being with the Father

The Lesson Cont'd

I know that you have a bad perception of what The Father is.

But even with your lives right now, you see yourself as some

sort of a victim. You feel that you are a victim, but the only

reason you feel like a victim is evidence that you never had a

Father figure.

You have never known what a Father is like and what a Father

is all about. So, when it comes to life, you approach it as a

victim. You see yourself as this victim who is being beaten up

by the devil - and even being beaten up and punished by God

the Father Himself!

Dear Lord,

I have been hurt by my father in the past.

Help me to forgive.

Help me to see that you, my Heavenly Father, are not like my

earthly one.

Help me to build a deeper relationship with you as my father.

You don’t know who you are. You have no identity, but when

you come to know Me and know that you are loved and

accepted in Me, then you will know that you are not a victim -

You are a king. You are the one who reigns with Me. You are

the one who can rule with Me.

So, I am challenging you to seek Me the Father- the Godhead,

so that your life can change and so that We can heal those

wounds. Do not see yourself as a victim, but as one who can

rule and reign with Me on Earth. Yes, I want to rule and reign

with you on Earth.

Without a Father, you have no identity. Without identity, it is

difficult to be a Son. I want to restore those wounds, so that

you can have sonship.

How far will you go? How deep will you dig? What would you

do to be healed and to be delivered?

I am teaching you the way to intimacy. The more healed you

are, the better you are. The more healed you are, the more you

know yourself.

At the same time, seek Me and seek the heavenly cultures.

If you do all that simultaneously, You will come to know who

I am, and you will come to know who you are. That’s the most

important thing. So how far will you go?

Write down at least one takeaway from this chapter.

What do you sense that God is asking of you?

What actions will you take in regard to this revelation?

ABOUT THE BOOK

Alex has prophetically captured Heaven’s heart by putting together

11 powerful messages aimed at building the reader’s understanding

of their personal faith journey. The messages throughout the book

have come directly from sacred times with God, and respresent the

things God wanted to tell His people both then and now.

The words in this book will uplift you; they will make you question

your walk, but most importantly, they will help you focus on God

Almighty and ignite a fire for you to engage Him even more.

With years of experience, Alex has come to know the tools that can

lead us into deeper intimacy; he knows that we must constantly

challenge ourselves on this road. We must not be complacent, for

our enemy doesn’t slumber nor sleep. The Father wants us to be

strong Christians who can take up the Kingdom and become His

true sons, who can rule and reign on the earth. This book gives

insight into how we can go about doing just that.
