The colors of many universities and colleges may be seen at this ceremony.<br />
Candidates for degrees in the Class of 2010 and a number of members of the faculty<br />
are wearing the <strong>Kean</strong> <strong>University</strong> hood, lined in blue and gray. Certain faculty<br />

Graduation with Honors<br />
Undergraduate students graduating with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.45<br />
or better, who have completed a minimum of 45 semester hours at <strong>Kean</strong> (excluding<br />
credits earned on a pass/fail basis) are recognized with honors upon completion of<br />
the final semester.<br />
Summa cum laude 3.85-4.00<br />
Magna cum laude 3.65-3.84<br />
Cum laude 3.45-3.64<br />
Anticipated honors are noted in the program. The honor is based upon the gradepoint<br />
average at the completion of the fall semester.<br />
