of events that are currently being planned for this year, any<br />

May / June<br />

1 May - 7 May: Swindon Festival of Literature<br />

Authors, storytellers, poets, musicians, acrobats, discussions,<br />

readings, talks and performances.<br />

6 - 8 May: The King’s Coronation<br />

Celebrate in style this year as <strong>Wiltshire</strong> celebrates the<br />

Coronation of his Majesty the King. Enjoy a 3-day bank holiday<br />

weekend full of events taking place across the county. From live<br />

music and street parades, to fun runs and picnics in the park,<br />

there’s something planned for everyone to mark this special<br />

24 May - 16 June: Salisbury International Arts Festival<br />

Salisbury International Arts Festival returns in <strong>2023</strong> with a<br />

full programme. The festival will feature a diverse programme<br />

of music, theatre, film, dance, spoken word, visual arts, family<br />

and free events, created by <strong>Wiltshire</strong> Creative’s Artistic Director<br />

Gareth Machin, Associate Artist violinist Harriet Mackenzie,<br />

and Festival Producer Lucy Babb, alongside a team of associate<br />

curators.<br />

9 June – 11 June: Cosham Walking Festival<br />

Corsham’s Walking Festival, catering for a wide range of walking<br />

enthusiasts and abilities walks vary in distance from 1.5 to 16.5<br />

miles that go from Easy through Moderate to Challenging.<br />

10 June – 11 June: Bradford on Avon Food and Drink Festival<br />

A festival celebrating everything that is wonderful about food<br />

and drink!<br />

Bradford on Avon Food and Drink Festival is a dynamic and fun<br />

celebration of all that is wonderful and delicious in the South<br />

West. Produce at its very best, plenty to see, drink and eat and in<br />

a vibrant atmosphere in the centre of this gorgeous and historic<br />

market town.<br />

18 June - 21 June: Solstice Fest A Festival for Solstice<br />

4 amazing days celebrating the Summer Solstice at Stonehenge<br />

Campsite, live music, craft stands to browse, enjoy open access to<br />

the Stones for the Sunset & Sunrise.<br />

26 June - 2 July: Daily Mail Chalke Valley History Festival<br />

The largest festival in the UK dedicated entirely to history.<br />

July / August<br />

9 July - 5 August: Marlborough College Summer School<br />

Marlborough College Summer School will take place 9 July to<br />

5 August <strong>2023</strong> and host over 500 courses encompassing the<br />

creative arts, history, science, body and mind, life skills, sport and<br />

country pursuits.<br />
