Electronic Labyrinths are an interactive modular installation.
This project deals with the topic of finding ways out
for our civilization, which is plagued by many natural and
social problems. My goal is to create working mazes that
respond to a random user’s presence in the nature.
This project covers the use of several techniques: generating
motifs/visual content by machine learning models (text to
image), materializing multilayered labyrinths (laser cutter),
placing and connecting electronic devices (modules) in /
on mazes and finally distribute them in the nature.

The work is a tribute to the pioneer of Scandinavian literary
modernism Edith Irene Södergran (1892-1923). More
than a hundred years after the creation of her poems, I have
explored the possibilities of combining her poems with the
latest generative models (CLIP), which allow me to steer
the aesthetics of the works in infinitely new directions.
Using basic structures to train models from text to latent
video, I created visual narratives that illustrate the content,
mood, idea, and message of Edith’s poems. These suggest
a rich and multi-layered mixing of social views and individual
impressions rather than a monotonous and linear
development of situations. Eight shop windows on Koroška
Street (Maribor) display prints selected from a multitude of
images in the process of generating latent videos. In the 3D
construction on the Main Square, visitors can trigger the
playback of these prints in augmented reality technology on
their mobile devices.

The data driven visualization “Along the Path of Crex Crex”
presents data on the locations and times of appearance of
fifty-five species of diurnal butterflies in the area of twenty-two
observed points in the Koščeva pot nature reserve
near Ljubljana. Each point is symbolically illustrated as an
AI-generated video from key words semantically linked to
Maria Sibylle Merian’s illustrations.

In the video Pleurocarpous there are speculative moments related to: the possibility of the survival
of a single plant species; the possibility of hybridization through the merging of more resistant and
less resistant species; the use of artificial intelligence to shape new plants suitable for future conditions
on Earth and the use of machine learning in creating resilient plants that can survive despite
strong evolutionary barriers. Pleurocarpous moss tends to form spreading carpets rather than erect
tufts. It can be very chaotics. It regenerates quickly also from broken fragments and grove on poor
surfaces.
Previously, I generated two AI models, Then I combined them and I added different text prompts
related to characteristics of Pleurocarpous moss.
The model of the branched rhizoid system, resistance, re-combinatorics and migration, are inherent
in both the plant and media worlds. They also have in common the unpredictability of development
and life once they are created or sent.

Truchet tiles originate from Sebastien Truchet’s treatise published in 1704, Mémoir sur les Combinaisons,
in which Truchet explores the types of patterns that can be made with a simple square tile
divided diagonally, white on one side and black on the other. Cyril Stanley Smith popularized this
idea in his 1987 paper, Sebastian Truchet’s Tiling Patterns and the Topology of Structural Hierarchy.
When Truchet tiles are used in random orientations, the curves combine to form connected lines or
faces, creating an infinite number of patterns.

The structure of the interactive G-U-M-E modular installation
is designed parametrically and each of the components
is a unique musical and visual work of art.
G-U-M-E provides visitors with an open space that can be
changed by each individual independently or in pairs by
creating their own sound space by touching smart materials.
People in the city are usually “cycled” into their routines …
walking the same paths over and over again… In order to
disrupt these routines and direct the attention of the inhabitants
G-U-M-E installation was created. Human experiences
in built spaces are multisensoric and are influenced by
the intangible properties that these components give to the
space, such as e.g. texture, sound, lighting, moisture.
The main goal of such an intervention is to change the urban
space in a way that people will stop for a moment and
rethink their heritage and future in the light of new technologies
for a better tommorow.

In Deep Gittered Age video work, I use multiple machine learning image generation techniques:
photographs of (almost!) untouched universe, together with a series of 800 photographs of various
plant species form hybrid creations. With additional modelling, on examples from the plant world, I
tried to predict in which direction evolution will continue and whether man can influence it. I refer
to Shakespeare’s view that the “divine spirit” with which we perceive the past and the future is not
given to us by itself. The spirit offers man the possibility of constant correction and enables him to
find a new way of survival and the opportunity to move from the most reluctant living species on
Earth to a level of evolution worthy of human potential.

One of the main roles of “glitch” in AI art is that it can serve
as a way to create innovative and unconventional works
of art that are difficult to achieve by other means. Glitch
in “Promenade” triggers unwanted effects in AI generated
work that can then be exploited and used as components of
artwork. This can achieve unique, and unusual effects that
create new expressions in works of art.

I explore how new forms of the plant world created through
manipulations with artificial intelligence might look like
and sound in the future.
I started from a photograph of Monstera deliciosa. I trained
photography with different sets of machine learning models
(geological, plants, animals). The results are hybrid designs
- new species of Monstera.
In a kind of plant station, I sound Monstera deliciosa. The
sound environment and spectrum, localized around and
in plants, becomes audible in the range of human hearing
through sound amplification. The sound activity is stimulated
and modified by the interaction of the visitors who
touch the plants (instruments - oscillators) and influence
the composition. By additional modeling, I try to predict in
which direction evolution will continue and whether humans
can influence it.

As a result of my doubt about the proper path of evolution,
in the video ‘Evolution in a Dead End?’ I used one of
the methods of artificial intelligence to generate the image.
By generating pixels using generative adversarial neural
network (GAN) techniques, I established a connection between
the canonical structure of a plant and a moving image
created by a computer program from a database of 1200
digital schematic drawings of the plant structure. The central
dynamic shapes rotate clockwise, then counter clockwise,
creating a special temporal and hypnotic dynamic. We
are also witnessing speculations – a moment of reversal that
may indicate a possible deviation of evolution from the expected
direction. Based on the geometric arrangements of
the visual elements of the drawings, the computer learned
to create completely new shapes and connected them into
moving ‘programmed spirits’ that may have in their hands
at least the first step towards a solution for the future of our
civilization.

As a result of my doubt about the proper path of evolution,
in the video ‘Weeds in a Dead End?’ I used one of the
methods of artificial intelligence to generate the moving
images. I established a connection between the canonical
structure of a plant and a moving image created by a computer
program from a database of 800 handmade drawings
of underground and above ground weed structures. Those
800 input photographs of plant species are trained in a
model that partly influences the visual and audio outcome
of the latent video. The result is dynamic hybrid forms that
are only similar to the initial plants. The video plays with
the assumption that such plant species could adapt to climate
change and survive, despite the fact that, due to the
short-sightedness of human civilization, many were forcibly
pushed into impossible conditions of survival.

The starting point for creating the collection of GIFs are recordings and reproductions of typical
sound patterns in industrial environments.
Animated GIFs are integrated representations of sounds (soundwaves, spectrogram, vectorscope) -
but without sound. The absence of sound in GIF animations is an extremely appropriate comparison
with the industry that has been silent in the Labin area, and its influence is still visible and
ubiquitous in the landscape, architecture and people there.

The current world is multifaceted, adding new meanings and new dimensions, changing boundaries,
conditions of coexistence, echoing and changing over time through complex communication
systems. Each individual tries to gain as many followers as possible, with the goal of mutual
development, both in contradictions and cooperation.
In the process, I often inquire violently, but also create and invite non-visitors to my home to share
complex stories with them. Who will visit me in the agony of waiting, what awaits me in the future -
will it be a visit from a friend or an enemy?

In order to preserve the links between nature and culture in
the destructive society of the Anthropocene era, which poses
ecological challenges, we use the rich teachings of our
ancestors, early musicians who followed plant and mushroom
life especially closely to stay in tune with the planet’s
heartbeat.
The earth is like a mosaic of soundscapes and creations,
inspiring people, offering them opportunities and setting
limits. Like biodiversity, music is the fruit of a common development
between humans and nature.
It is the sounds of mushrooms that embody the fairy-tale
diversity of cultural identities and imaginations.
The interesting sounds and varied rhythms we create in the
“Poetic Heritiums” project are produced by live fungi that
are still attached to their growing mycelial bodies. These
produce a weak electric current that constantly fluctuates
according to the state of the organism. This current can be
amplified to produce a sound that directly reflects the state
of the organism.

The idea is to show symbolically that humans should protect
plants and other living creatures and they will offer us
everything we need.
In the research and the project at the Augmented Attention
Lab in Bratislava, plant and human body are combined in
an interactive wearable in a unique sound space. The result
of the project is a fully functional prototype. In the project
we use SenseStage system (receiver and two transmitters).
One transmitter sends the data from accelerator sensor
placed on the glove. Second transmitter sends the analogue
data about capacitive properties of the plant. Output
sounds are generated from graphical sounds in SuperCollider
(granular synthesis method).
Both parts of the project (glove and plant) as a whole propose
spectators to interact and create the unique sound
space.

In the video piece “Restless Blue Spreads Through the Town”
I explored what the words QUIET, BLUE and TOWN look
like and the textual descriptions that are close to the basic
terms when I turn them into synthesized images.
The AttnGAN tool synthesized the details in different
sub-regions of the images. I paid special attention to the
description and selection of appropriate words in natural
language (English). The proposed AttnGAN model significantly
outperforms the tools traditionally used to synthesize
images from words. However, I must conclude that the
results are unpredictable and the synthesized images are
unexpected compared to artistic visualizations of “realistic”

Very Large Works, the wrong - new digital art biennale, The

In my work “Identify 19”, I explored YOLO fully-convolutional
model for real-time instance segmentation.
A single convolutional network simultaneously predicts
multiple bounding boxes and class probabilities for those
boxes. YOLO trains on full images and directly optimizes
detection performance. This unified model has several benefits
over traditional methods of object detection.

In a one-second video, I show how anger can be released in one second.
I establish dense correspondences between RGB image and a surface-based representation of the human
body, a task we refer to as dense human pose estimation. I experiment with fully-convolutional
networks and region-based models and observe a superiority of the latter; I further improve accuracy
through cascading, obtaining a system that delivers highly accurate results in real time.

In the video work “Fe(AI)r” I researched what the word “fair” and text descriptions that are close to the
basic terms look like, when with the help of machine learning (GAN) turn into synthesized images.
The AttnGAN tool synthesized details in different image sub-regions. I paid special attention to the
description and selection of appropriate words in natural language (English). The proposed Attn-
GAN model goes far beyond the tools traditionally used to synthesize an image from words. The
results are unpredictable and the synthesized images are unexpected compared to the traditional
artistic visualizations of “realistic” fair situation.

“Glitch(s)ex” is a video work. With a novel generative attentional network, I examined how the word
“sexuality” (and the textual descriptions that are close to the basic concept) is translated into the
sequence of synthesized images.
With the tool, AttnGAN I synthesized the details on different sub-regions of the images. I paid
special attention to the description and selection of relevant words in natural language (English).
The proposed model AttnGAN significantly surpasses the tools used so far.
Yet we must admit that the results are unpredictable and synthesized images are unexpected - if we

In the project Audible Healing Pressure Points, traditional
Chinese medicine (TCM) is combined with research
in e-textiles. The project proposes to position electronic
acoustic devices on the healing points which lower or heal
pain, usually massaged or pressed on by a therapist. The
results of the project is a prototype - the fabric glove with
integrated circuit, which creates sound upon applying pressure
on two sensors/healing points. The first point “Zhong
Zhu” is recommended for temporal headaches, shoulder
pain, neck tension, and upper back pain. This point is located
behind your knuckles in the groove formed by the
tendons of your ring finger and little finger. The second
point “He Gu” is curing headaches, neck pain, stress, facial
pain, and toothaches. It is located between the web of your
thumb and index finger.

The project was created for the purpose of the Digital
Practicum for students of the New Media at the Academy
of Arts of the UNG. The acoustic response circuit, which I
developed previously independently, is applied to the fabric
surface and synth to the breadboard. Interactive Sound
Responsive Glove is intended for practical use with DIY
synth. Electronic elements - sewable LEDs will respond to
sound waves throbbing to the beat of the music. When the
sound from DIY synth is loud LED-s respond, shine and
flash.
This product is the result of a three-day workshop with students
of the first year, without prior knowledge of electronics
and it is intended for jam sessions of electronic music
enriched with light effects.

The theme of interactive tapestry is the North Sea coastal
landscape. The tapestry links the elements of the coastal
landscape and the thoughts of the spectators, which arise
when they look at it.
An interactive tapestry includes an audio recorder and a
player’s circuit.
The spectator listens to the audio message / thoughts recorded
by the previous spectator, then records his / her
audio message / thought. This is followed by the next spectator.
We do not store audio messages / thoughts, just as
waves come to the shore and flee to the next, in front of our
eyes ...

Interactive sygnal glove is one in the series of artefacts

The workshop mentor shows an e-textile process, according
to which participants create a unique textile object that

aesthetic it is also an useful accessory in everyday situations

Scenes are installed in the beginning of the 19 th century
(empire and classicism), Middle-European cultural
environment.
Antonio Salieri is the main character and holder of
deadpan aesthetic. He himself never laughs and does not
rejoice. When watching the broadcast of the WFC match
on TV screen he takes a negative stand towards football.
He is extremely critical towards contemporaries (servant,
minister, wife and acrobat) that have been overwhelmed
and captivated by football. He observes their unusual
doings and unpredictable behaviour during a walk. Unlike
deadpan expression on the face and body posture, in some
uncontrolled moments shocks with its distance from
the context of social stratus. In the finishing part of the
advertising action comes to an unexpected twist …

This responsive installation is created by the attendees of the
workshop (responsive electronics, programming and hat design).
The presentation features three electrified hats by three
techno-heroines, who know their way around both wild plants
and wild technology. Each hat gives them a specific superpower
to control one of the aspects of nature: biological, technological
and human. Each techno-goddess has her own identity
that changes in contact with the other two. They express their
superpowers by means of sounds, sensors, LED lights, speakers,
microcontrolers and materials which correspond to their
characteristics. The project deals with the meaning of natural
in the technologically modernized society. Our starting point
is the assumption that our perception of nature as a static, balanced
and harmonic system that doesn’t include the man or
technology, is naive. We should not consider ourselves antinatural
beings that jeopardize and destroy nature, but as catalysts
of evolution, because natures changes with us and the ethical
choice is always a part of the relationship. Our nature namely
knows no competition or struggle for survival, but cohabitation,
which is the reason to develop the ‘wild’ software that
encourages both autonomous operations as well as symbiosis.

BAOTAZ is an interactive installation (a shiny-noisy-bigsilicone-brain),
a wearable technology (a creep-throbbinghelmet)
and an ecosystem that make possible to deal with
the planetary interconnection and feel it on our bodies.
Human Ecosystems gathers planetary data, feeds it to
a Processing sketch which sends it to some electronic
circuits. On these circuits a series of small vibrating
motors transform data in vibration and tactility, and are
accompanied by lights and a series of solutions for sensorial
activation.
A study has been made to understand which patterns of
tactile stimulation could be meaningfully interpreted, to
convey understandings about the data. Instead of sending
single impulses, which would have been difficult to
compare and understand in their entity, we have chosen
to produced continuous waves of signals, which are then
perturbed through data, thus obtaining signals which are
easily recognizable on the skin and which the brain quickly
figures out how to interpret.

This LaceSounds video is a compilation of graphic sounds
generated in the Graphical sounds workshop within the
series of one-day From Lace to Lace workshops mentored
by Lavoslava Benčić. The workshop was aimed at learning
the method for unbiased and logical bridging of diferences
in dealing with the digital graphic and sound worlds.
The method of graphic sound allows for the analysis of
graphic elements in special programmes which translate
graphic structures into sound. The basis for transformation
is the spectrogram algorithm. Each sound structure makes
the visual characteristics of one graphic matrix audible. The
graphic matrix used for generation of LaceSounds was lace
patterns.

This installation opens up the possibility that using light
and sound spectators may alive once live natural creature.
The dialogue between the visitor and the work is created
visually and acoustically.
The visual part of the installation is carried out in an
electronic textiles on the oak branch. The holder of two
separate circuits is silk ribbon, decorated with translucent
textile elements. Each circuit is powered by a 3V battery.
Light rhythm generates white and blue LilyPad LEDs
with built-in resistors. A LilyTiny chip (Attiny85) is
programmed so that mimics the rhythm of heart rate.
Elements are connecting by the conductive yarn.
The audio part of the installation is generated by the
method of graphical sound. Sound in the duration of 1,40
minute is stored in MP3 format on the micro SD card in the
LilyPad MP3 player. Sound raises when the user contacts
two metal plates (ground and program). They hang on
conductive yarn, coated with copper sulphate crystals.

improves the number of return users, and transforms them into active participants.
Its elements support the entertainment/discovery/creative visit genre of the content that corresponds
to a general group of users on the peninsula Punta Busola. Users spontaneously explore their
creative skills through narrative (storytelling). Their ideas may become the inspiration for future
projects and may be an important factor for the sustainability of the main project.
The gamified experience uses the power of storytelling to engage players. Users create stories
strongly related to visual project content. The interface allows and encourages competitive key
actions by different types of players and their collaboration in the endgame stage.
A gamified experience is created from provided (offered) visual content (photos from the database
and from Emil Benčić’s mobile phone gallery). The content is ordered in four categories (Hero 1,
Hero 2, Location, Random).
At the beginning of the gamified experience, building elements are selected randomly using one
photo from each category as an inspiration. Photos help participants to build personalized stories.
In the midgame stage, the user writes the narrative/plot and publishes it on the project site. In
the endgame stage, narratives are scored. The best-scored narratives are rewarded and published.
Winners are honored and become mentors or “storytelling experts.”
This version of Digital Story Creator is very much a developmental version, and the application is
currently in the process of being improved. The gamified experience presently works off-line on
Android mobile devices.

Project From Experience to Infinity (FETI) takes the form
of a virtual thematic route.
It content is composed of eight sub-projects, symbolically
located on the form of the sign for infinity (∞), and
virtually located on the Istrian peninsula of Punta Busola.
The audience is connected with the content of subprojects
using augmented reality technology. The QR code can be
read with the free application Junaio viewer using e-textile
map and cardboard map as trackables.

3D Timespace is a web-based interactive database. It informs the user about the life and work of the
artist Emil Benčić in chronological order in three-dimensional space. Users can explore and share
the content on the Internet.
Functionalities are presented on five parallel strips and include the artist’s biography (Baričević 2009,
154−165), the list of solo exhibitions, the list of collective exhibitions, the list of awards he achieved,
and the list of symposia and colonies he attended. The database consists of 174 total units. Some
units provide links to additional content (photo, video, and audio).
This version is very much in a developmental stage and is currently in the process of digitalization
and entry of the materials contained in the database. 3D Timespace will be updated according to
future, relevant activities.

The sound and video installation Eol & Glorija is inspired by the Emil Benčić story, “Thank You,
Eol!” and Ranko Marinković’s drama, Glorija. The characters are Eol and Glorija. Eol is the god of
wind. He represents Glorija’s friend, counselor, trustee, and comforter in a critical situation. Glorija
is the main character in Ranko Marinković’s drama. She is a woman with two lives: a dancer on a
trapeze and a nun. She is deep disappointed in her father, love, and the Catholic church. She needs a
friend for conversation before her suicide.
The background of the installation Eol & Glorija is related to memories of Komižans on Ranko
Marinković, especially on his birth centenary in 2013. In these circumstances, transmediation of his
work becomes meaningful to the present day Komiža and also presents the occasion to educate non-
Komižans. In everyday life, winds are important for the success of Komižan’s fishermen. Their catch
depends on the wind’s inclination and power.
The sound and video installation is based on dialogues of dramatic treatment of the theme from
the five-scene drama Glorija between Glorija and Eol and the wind’s visualization. Glorija is
represented by an actress’s voice. Four Eols are sounds/frequencies, a transmedia of data archive of
wind power and direction in Komiža gathered from March to May 2013. Visualization is a globular
video projection of Benčić’s ceramic inlays in a circular movement according to the local windrose.
Spectators listen to dialogues in the middle of the soundspace and look at the circular visualization
on the floor.

The medieval didactic poem La Danza de la muerte tells of
the inescapable facts that we will all die, in death we are all
equal, the departure from the real world cannot be ignored
or redirected. The character of Death reminds us of the
fragility of life and demonstrates the absurdity and vanity
of wealth, power, and prestige. This poem is certainly one of
the most painful lessons for civilization.
Graphical sounds are interpretations of the the poem
characters. Six-unit sounds evoke feelings and reactions,
based on the poem message.
The sound is created by the method of graphical sound,
which analyzes the visual elements and transforms them
into a spectrogram algorithmic sound structure.
The initial screen of the project interface illustrates the
circular victims dance and introduces the victims randomly.
Spectators access the next level screens as victims confess,
then watch and listen to the victims’ messages.

With project Schattenobjekt Uhrturm, I investigate the attitude toward misunderstanding and
disregard of the cultural heritage by today’s society. I warn about the threat of impoverishment and
the disappearance of all forms of cultural heritage artifacts. In particular, against the “deadliness”
and a misunderstanding of Emil Benčić’s artworks, I try to spread interest in spiritual values and
messages that emanate from his works. We create and run remediations in this video simulation.
The clock-tower on Schlossberg is a symbol of the city of Graz (Austria). Its position as well
as its history is essential for the reputation of this city. In 2003, Styria artist Markus Wilfling
“materialized” the Grazer clock-tower shadow as a steel structure: Schattenobjekt Uhrturm. In
2004, the commercial center Seiersberg Graz bought the Schattenobjekt Uhrturm and repositioned
it to the middle of the traffic circle in the front of the commercial center. I felt the displacement
of Schattenobjekt Uhrturm as an incentive to express our views. Ten years later, I gave the idea of
the Grazer Schattenobjekt Uhrturm back to the citizens in an interaction with the BIX façade—an
oversized urban screen of the Graz Art Museum. As a weightless spatial element, I transposed the
Schattenobjekt Uhrturm in another time and space using the shape and motion of a 3-D model.
Schattenobjekt Uhrturm is now hovering (floating) above the Earth’s surface, seeking its original
identity. It appears in the new manifestations as fragile, even impalpable, although undoubtedly an
inseparable part of the Grazer clock-tower identity.
I suggest Schattenobjekt Uhrturm as a symbol of all artworks to which history was not kind and
whose futures remain uncertain.

The video installation The Purpose of Life is based on the
artist’s Emil Benčić’s quote:
“The purpose of life is not to warm up, but to burn up!”

The primary display represents energy and the purity of artists’ ideas. I generated content by using
the graphical sound method (or drawn sound techniques). Applying the quote above, I remediated
newly created sound structures in cymatics. This cymatics experiment is realized using crystallized
sugar as a medium/source of waveformes.
The secondary display is part of the conceptual documentary Videodocument (Danial and Musović
2013). The quote transformed to cymatics became the initiation and inspiration for a spontaneous
body performance (Mišković). The video installation The Purpose of Life represents the example of
viral influence caused by the quote’s sound frequencies and compatibility between different media.
Both videos as a whole tell us that all art has to “burn” to trigger authors, encourage curators, and
excite spectators on the way to a positive and complete relationship with the authors’ creativity.

The video 0-18-81-0 is taken in the elevator, located in a
skyscraper eighteen floors high in Ljubljana, where I (the
author of the project) moved in 1981 when I was eighteen
years old.
The elevator is symbolically seen as a “zone” between the
inner and outer world. When I get out of it or enter in
to it, I often relive the happy moments, impressions, and
experiences I enjoyed with Emil Benčić. He passed away in
his eighty-first year.
Such remembering is actually like a spiral motion. In the
traditional understanding of the world, spiral circulations
are found in legends, fairy tales, dances, and religious
practices in a variety of forms (e.g., patrolling of houses,
dancing around the wells, fortune-telling by spinning
the crystal ball around its axis). Similar procedures are
maintained in contemporary beliefs, rituals, and practices
and act as a deliberate way of interaction through which
one can enter into another world and come out of it.

Project TP01 includes photographs that are works of Emil
Benčić. Each record of the work sets out ten parameters
(textual, numerical, and photographic) and consists of the
following four phases.
Through the QR code reader on a smart phone, the user
scans one of the six QR codes at the cube. The user opens
the URL. On the mobile smart device display, the user
reviews the content (the photo of the motif) and selects
one. The user remembers the basic information (year and
the name of the work) and finds the photograph of the
selected work in the box. The user determines the position
of the selected work on the timeline and places it in a
pocket. The user can write contact information or ideas on
the back of the photo.
The user gains secondary knowledge and skills in project
TP01 that include reading QR codes, using phone beam
online, memorizing characteristics of visual contents, and
sorting visual content by parameters.

This work connects the small mistakes that apear in
meandering around the city, where some city artifacts
appear to be used in ways different from how they were
concieved. This public misuse runs parallel to the intrinsic
mistakes in the city structure. The invention focuses on
a commonly mistaken activation of the acoustic signal
guiding blind pedestrians over a crossing; each useless
interaction with the device is translated into visualisations
of another mistake: the “jumping” pixel on the BIX-facade.
Next to the Kunsthaus is the crosswalk. On each side, there
is a machine, that helps blind people to cross the street, by
generating a special sound when the traffic light turn green.
This machine is often used by not blind people, cause they
think the traffic light gets green more fast - so its also a kind
of „placebo button“. We are upgrading this machine to get
a signal to the BIX fassade, so that the visuals there change
every time the button is pushed.

The idea is to use the material volume of the ring as a
communication space in relationship between creators,
authors, artists (users of the ex Rog factory) and public
(citizens of Ljubljana, authority) related around the Rog
factory.
On the one side, cuts crossing the ring-shaped form and
shift-outs symbolize user’s tendencies to express their ideas
and rights to the public.
On the other side the public shift-in the elements of the
ring-shaped form to enter Rog and consume the users’
ideas and content.

The social game Second Chance helps users organise
their space, time, money and other means once the set
methods of cooperation and discussion fail. The idea arose
in 2012 at the international workshop LOGOS, Multiple
Manifestations of Rog, which was followed by the creation
of the prototype through the process GRAB.ROG.LAND,
Mono Materialiasation of Rog. The game unfolds (and the
scheduling gets decided) with a single throw of two dice,
one with four and one with eight sides.
It was created in cooperation with students and mentors
from the School of Arts at the University of Nova Gorica,
Graz University of Technology and The Academy of
Applied Arts in Rijeka and was supported by the European
Commission.

Only Men Stuff, great Fashion show is designed just for
men visitors. The entrance to all events is free of charge,
but it is necessary to acquire the tickets beforehand by
cooperating in GEM Public Multimedia Network or in
interactive mobile web portal.
The holders of the visual expression are variants on the
theme of the motive from the Greek water jar with the
motive of the myth of Leda and the Swan. The mythic basis
is substantiated by the modern symbolism of the white
shirt and a cord.
Variants on the theme of the myth Leda and the Swan - the
typical emotional situations during the common courting
period: power-weakness, dominance-subordination,
determination-confusion, protection-attack, couragecowardice
and steadiness-indulgence. The figures (Leda
and the Swan) are in different dynamic and dangerous
positions on the cord.
