Preliminary Information<br />
• Steel P<strong>ro</strong>tection - P<strong>ro</strong>duct names<br />
For several years we discussed the p<strong>ro</strong> and con of replacing our FRIAZINC, ICOSIT and<br />
INERTOL brand names by those fitting better into the Sika nomenclature.<br />
As we are incorpor<strong>atin</strong>g former DuPont p<strong>ro</strong>ducts (PERMACOR brand) into our p<strong>ro</strong>duct<br />
range this year and thus faced with the same topic anyway, we b<strong>ro</strong>ught us to the decision<br />
to do it in one go. F<strong>ro</strong>m January 2008 all of our steel p<strong>ro</strong>tection p<strong>ro</strong>ducts will be re-named!<br />
During the months coming we will gradually implement the new names. Our aim is to have<br />
this work completed until end of the year. For a transition period of one, possibly 2 years<br />
we will indicate both names, old and new one in our documentation and on labels e.g.:<br />
SikaCor ® Zinc R (Friazinc ® R)<br />
Sika ® Elastomastic TF (Icosit ® Elastomastic TF)<br />
Sika Poxitar ® F (Inertol Poxitar ® F)<br />
We know that it is an incisive action and do hope that you will be able to make any<br />
necessary adjustments without intricacies during the remaining months.<br />
