OPEN STUDIOS

Artists from all over Cornwall will be throwing open

their doors from the 27th May – 4th June 2023. Open

Studios is the perfect place to meet the makers in

their unique studios and discover extraordinary art.

There is work to suit all budgets and tastes, from

postcards and prints to one off pieces.

If you haven’t been to Open Studios before, read on for our top

tips to make the most of the event:

Look out for the orange “O”

Some of the studios are remote or a little trickier to find, so follow

the O’s!

Plan ahead

Artists are arranged by location throughout the Guide to make

it easy to plan your visit. There are maps and directions to the

studios too, but it’s still a good idea to plan where you’d like to

visit before setting out. Full directions and individual maps to the

studios can be found on our website.

Check the dates

Studios have various opening times and dates across the event.

Check their listing to find out when you can visit.

Take some cash!

Most artists will accept card payment but take some cash (or a

cheque!) with you just to make sure. A deposit will be required to

reserve most artworks. Then you can make an arrangement with

the artists to collect it at a convenient time, just make sure you

obtain a receipt.

Parking

Please be considerate when parking and ensure you are not

causing an obstruction. Use public car parks wherever possible.
