The Archetypes of the Witch….
To be truly powerful in our magic we need to embrace
all parts of ourselves, all emotions, cycles, states and
elements, labelling nothing as wrong. Being open to
grow and evolve, to face the darker parts we shy
away from – a repressed witch can create total havoc
in her own life without realising she is doing it. In
order to avoid that havoc we have to get comfortable
with the uncomfortable and explore our unconscious
parts.
If we know and embrace, and more importantly
recognise the Archetypes of the witch and work with
them instead of denying or burying them then we can
become truly Powerful forces that can change our
own lives and the future of the world!
Archetypes of the Witch
The Force of Nature – she who cannot
be controlled
Cyclical being – with ebbs and flows, she connects
with the moon, with the cycles of nature, the wheel of
the year and the seasons. She knows death and
rebirth. She knows her own body and she knows the
power of mother earth. The mother who stands up for
her kids against an injust system, the powerful
lioness that resides inside of you… the wild woman..
the forerunner!
The witch represents the part of each of us that has
been censored, ignored, punished and demonised!!
It is the woman in her power, the woman who uses
her voice, the woman who stands up for what is right,
the woman who knows herself!
The Creatrix – She who dreams,
manifests and makes magic!
She is the caregiver to the world, the sensitive who
connects with nature, the healer, the mentor, the
mystic. She knows there is more to life than what we
can see.. she feels it all!!! She is intuitive and raw.
Women by nature are witches because we are a
force of nature, we shed and bleed, we blossom and
birth, we are cyclical like the moon and the seasons.
You don’t have to do anything to be a witch
You don’t have to practice magic or healing to be a
witch..
its not something you do.. its more who you are…
underneath what you were told to be!!!
Sometimes we hide all this… often we do! Because
in our bones we carry the stories of the women who
were persecuted, burned, drowned, tortured, and
silenced because of their power.
So to identify as a witch is to reclaim all this power!
To connect with that ancient part of yourself!
There are many aspects to the Witch, many
archetypes we embody.
The creator of life… our womb space is a powerful
portal… we can be the creator of joy, health,
harmony, abundance… women are constantly
creating and making something from nothing – that is
one of our most powerful gifts… creating a home out
of a house, creating a meal for our family out of
ingredients, creating magic in our way. The kitchen
