The Whittington Festival 2024
Thursday May 16th – Sunday May 19th
Whittington Church
With a fantastic line-up of musicians offering world
class music over three days, Whittington Festival is
being hosted at Whittington Church from Thursday 16
May to Sunday 19 May 2024.
This year features violinist Braimah Kanneh-Mason,
pianist Sophia Rahman (Artistic Director of the festival)
and an array of other young musicians. There are also
five concerts during the festival: Four Seasons plus!,
Circle of Friends, Family Concert & Jazz, Visions and
Apparitions and Youth and Experience.

their website with free admission for anyone under the
age of 25. Festival passes are £76.00 and are available
to buy online.
Clubfest 2024
Friday 24 May – Tuesday 28 May
Weston Park, Weston-under-Lizard, Shifnal
An unforgettable four-day event. Clubfest 2024 is set
amongst the stunning backdrop of Weston Park from
Friday 24 May to Tuesday 28 May.
With live on-stage entertainment from Scouting for
Girls, Toploader, Jason Donovan and ELO Experience
along with many other musicians and groups, the
festival should definitely be on your list to visit this
year!
Now introducing zones with inclusive activities for the
whole family, from a Wellbeing Club to a Nature Club,
there’s something for every guest to make the most of
this May.

Shrewsbury Farmers Market

Shrewsbury Town Square
Shrewsbury’s May Fair Farmer’s Market is being held on
Saturday 18th May in Shrewsbury’s town square.
Held monthly in the square on the first Friday of each
month, the Farmer’s Market features an array of
Shropshire’s best produce.
From local cheeses and bakes to gorgeous jewellery,
Shrewsbury’s market has something for everyone to
enjoy and is just a stone’s throw away from the town’s
variety of cafes, shops and restaurants for visitors to
make a full day of it.
Shropshire County Show

West Mid Showground
The
Shropshire
County
Agricultural
Show was
originally
created in the
late 19th
century as
part of the
co-operative
venture, The
Shropshire
and West Midlands Agricultural Society.
Still a popular attraction, this year’s show will be held at
the West Mid Showground on 25th May with plenty of
livestock and tractors with entertainment to run all day.
The event will also feature a variety of producers all
selling their produce and creations from food and drink
to clothing and art.
Whether you want to sit back and enjoy the music and
atmosphere or sample local produce while the kids
enjoy the children’s zone, there’s something for
everyone to enjoy this May.
