and correctly attributed. Grading and other
descriptions of condition represent the personal
opinion of the cataloguer and no warranty is
implied therein.

unless Federal Express is specifically requested.
Registered mail: Please include $15 for postage,
insurance and handling.
Federal Express (no P.O. boxes; street addresses
only): Please include $35 if shipment is to be
made to a U.S. address and $60 if outside the
United States.

We are pleased to present Fixed Price List 13, featuring
120 outstanding Greek and Roman coins as well as
select antiquities. In a market where material of the
highest quality is no longer regularly encountered outside
of auction, we are delighted to be able to offer so
many rare, important and otherwise superlative coins
in a fixed price format. We also have included selections
from recently acquired groups of Thessalian silver,
third century antoniniani of Antioch and other
provincial mints, and folles of Constantine the Great.

We urge all our clients to visit our website. Color
images and enlargements of all items in Fixed Price
List 13 are posted there. Simply select the pull-down
menu category “Fixed Price List” on the search engine
to access all coins and objects from the list; alternatively,
you may enter 'fpl13” (no spaces) in the keyword
field and use the pull-down menu to narrow your
search to specific areas of interest (i.e. Magna Graecia,
Roman Republic, etc.). The list is also accessible in
PDF file format by going to the “Auctions & Lists”
page and clicking on the appropriate links.
3) Coins purchased and delivered in the State of
California are subject to sales tax at the applicable
rate (this will vary according to the tax district
where the item is delivered). However, total
coin purchases at or exceeding $1,000 are
exempt from this tax, as are purchases made by
those who have filed a valid California resale permit
with Freeman & Sear. Antiquities are not
exempt from tax unless purchased by a non-
California resident and delivered outside of
California.
4) New customers are requested to send payment
with order.
