The concept of using the immune system to kill cancer has been around
since the late 1800s, however, only in recent years has the concept of
“immunotherapy” of cancer attracted mainstream attention in the
conventional oncology community. In this manuscript we present our
overview of the historical foundations that established the current
views on the cancer-immune interactions and means of shifting the
interaction to provide the patient new ways of fighting the tumor and
its metastasis.We also provide scientific mechanisms for “alternative
medicine” approaches such as intravenous vitamin c and ozone
therapyHaving unfortunately both experienced the death of a parent, my
father and dr. Ichim’s mother. We have decided to join forces and
contribute any way possible in the continued fight against cancer.
