LXIA SPARK ANIMATION GRANT<br />
Sponsored by Netflix, the Spark Animation Grant is designed to uplift Latino<br />
animation filmmakers. The selected filmmakers received a $10,000 grant each<br />
towards the production of an animated short film. The completed films will<br />
have a special screening during the festival.<br />

A little blob couple named Red and Orange are suddenly thrust into a world-altering pandemic. As the days of lockdown<br />
drag on, they work from home, do various quarantine activities to pass the time, and connect with friends and family<br />
virtually. They both end up being laid off from their jobs and months pass with them feeling listless. Orange gets a job<br />
that brings it back to the office, leaving Red home alone.<br />
As things steadily open up, Red remains inside, feeling increasingly isolated as other blobs return to their happy lives<br />
full of activities. Red’s mental health continues to deteriorate as Orange tries to find ways to show Red love and support.<br />
