Our courses are 1-2 week intense short courses. Certain courses such as the BDC or BGC
have exams at the end of the course. The courses will give you an extensive overview and
prac<cal experience with regards to gemmological training. These introductory courses
serve as an ideal introduc>on to gemmology and gem tes<ng. They will provide you with
basic understanding of gems and how they can be tested, so that you can con<nue your
career aOerwards. However, they are not professionally qualifying and they are not
creden>als that can be used behind one's name.

THE NEAPOLITANS AND THE GAME OF THREE CARDS: CARD WINS CARD LOSES
It has always been the game of games, in Naples, on the sidewalks in front of the central
sta<on, on Corso Garibaldi, under the Galleria or wherever there is a hurried passage of
people. A perfect organiza<on aimed at chea<ng the passerby on duty: a folding bench,
three playing cards and a "paranza", a small band of 5 or 6 people, each with his own task,
