in May, as Today a reader Tomorrow a Writer team,we had a
guest Esra KAYHA.She is a Turkish Language Teacher ,also a
book writer.
To celebrate the publishment of her book (KAMBUR),
below,Meral Sena KARA( our moderator and translater) and
students have jointly compiled a set of interview questions
to be used while conducting an interview with a
contemporary author:
When and why did you start writing?
How did you feel seeing your first book being published?
Did you want to be a writer when you were young?
Did you like reading as a teenager?
And there were so many kind of questions.
Esra KAYHA gave information on how reading books will
shape the lives of our students and how to write essays
such as essays and stories more easily.The interview ended
with good wishes.

Our guest is
Sinem KOLÇAK ARMAN.
She is a pathfinder teacher also a book writer.
She is using many authentic materials during
the class because she aims to show how the
language is related with the life at the same
time!
She says;" We are like mother duck and
ducklings with my students. My students look
forward the next lesson because I am trying to
teach as proper to new generation, I mean
kinesthetic and student-centered. They are my
the biggest energy source."
We had an interview with her and asked so
many kind of questions from classroom
management to being a writer.At the end of the
webinar, Sinem Teacher did a Picture reading
activity for students .It was a student-centered
activity and it was so enjoyable.
