Use case:
At Izen in Lille we installed a POWERBOX that stores the excess energy
coming from the solar panels on the roof. This energy is stored in hydrogen
bottles at 300 bar. When there is no sunshine, electricity and heat are
produced from the stored hydrogen.
We installed a SOLYZER at Vives University of Applied Sciences in Kortrijk.
The SOLYZER is an electrolyser that produces hydrogen by splitting water
into hydrogen and oxygen.
We have a project at Wolfheze in the Netherlands, where 8 to-be-built
family houses will be linked for the supply of thermal energy for domestic
hot water and heating of the buildings as well as electricity. To achieve this
goal, Solenco will install a POWERHUB connected to a heat pump.
