Air pumps provide a number of benefits for fish, wildlife and

aquatic plants. Aeration in the pond is extremely important in

warm weather when oxygen levels reduce. A higher level

of oxygen is also required when treating fish diseases,

as treatments can diminish oxygen. An air pump is also

ideal for keeping an area of your pond ice free during the

The pump pulls water in via the

skimmer inlet and any waste

particles are filtered and collected

in the skimmer basket. Keeping the

is easy, just remove and empty the

Pond Cleaner

The Bermuda Pond Cleaner is a portable, venturi effect

vacuum cleaner. This easy to use, pond cleaner

simply connects up to a garden hose. When the

brush cleaner head is placed under water,

the tap is turned on, dirt particles are sucked up

from the pond and collected in the filter bag.

Once the filter bag is full, simply remove it

and empty it.

The handle extends from 0.85m (3 feet)

to 1.8m (6 feet) allowing you to get

If in doubt, buy a larger pond liner than you need, as you can always

cut away any excess. Use smooth edging stones to decorate the pond.

PLANNING

Use a garden hose or rope

to outline the shape of the

pond on the ground.

DIGGING

Follow the outline and dig

down to the first shelf level,

removing any sharp stones

or roots as you work.

FILLING

Lay the liner over the hole

and centre it. Hold the liner

in place with smooth stones

as you fill it with water.

Bermuda Pure Pond balls are ideal to use as a

maintenance product if your pond is not as clear as

it should be. Natural bacteria and enzymes inside

the gel balls work to improve the water quality once

added to the water. Bermuda Pure Pond also helps

to reduce ammonia and nitrite, helping to create

a safer environment for your fish. Simply add the

balls to your pond filter where the balls will not

escape into the pond. Available in two sizes.
