• Don't stress over anything - on the day nothing matters,
everyone is there to celebrate the two of you.
Not a tip but this magical day would not have been possible
if it wasn’t for my amazing mum and dad and now mother-inlaw.
Dan and I are so grateful to have such amazing parents.

Thank you for making our day so special.
We initially wanted the band to play for four hours and then
switch to a DJ set. However, everyone was so engaged they
made the decision to carry on for the rest of the evening and
it was the best decision. Luckily, we had time to rehydrate
in between sets. Jam Hot all I can say is WHAT A BAND!!
The entire day was photographed by my amazing friend Ruth.
She is so fun to work with and captures the most stunning
pictures. 4,000 to be exact!! All our guests commented on what
a fabulous photographer she was. She even tracked down a
golf buggy at 1.30am when she had been working since 10am
to take us to the front entrance of Mere for a nighttime shoot.
Some top tips from us:
• Give a friend your phone for the evening, they can do your
social media if you want them to, or they can just capture lots
of moments from the day. You and your partner can then look
through them when you get into bed that night and re live the
day together.
• Take 5 minutes just the two of you after the ceremony - it
totally relaxed us and allowed us to take in everything that
was happening.
