After being together for four years, in 2015, Tony finally
popped the question in Tenerife and I was blown away. If
anyone knows Tony, he was the last person they thought
would ever settle down. It was so romantic, he got someone
to film the whole proposal which we will cherish forever.
The year after, in 2016, I fell pregnant with our beautiful
baby girl Sienna who was born in October 2016, and we
settled into family life. After a year I started to pester Tony
about setting a date for the wedding and sure enough
he finally caved, and we went to view some venues.
Nothing really gave us what we wanted and then the last
venue to view was The Bentley. As soon as we viewed
this venue, we knew it was exactly what we wanted.
start by the staff at The Bentley. Ryan our wedding organiser
was absolutely brilliant, he made sure every request was met
and gave us so much confidence. He has now become a
friend of mine and Tony’s and we can’t thank him enough.
From January 2022 it was all go, we were invited for the food
tasting, and the food was exquisite, it was so hard to choose.
The little touches like giving our little girl the choice of the kids’
menu was so lovely.
The lead up to the big day was stressful, but with the help and
support of Ryan and the team, we knew we were in safe hands.
We got married in Blessed Sacrament church on Walton Vale.
The church holds so many memories for us both. Tony and I
were both christened there and so was our daughter. Tony’s
grandparents who are so special to Tony were also married
there in 1961.
I walked up the aisle to an acoustic version of our song, Call
me Maybe, sang by Lucy Mayhew, it was so beautiful.
Three Graces
Tony and I both like a good party and the whole layout was
simply perfect. With the Cunard Room offering the most
amazing view of the Three Graces and floor to ceiling windows
overlooking the strand it was perfect for our wedding breakfast
with all our guests. The middle room would hold the cake
display and the selfie mirror and mirror wall for the pictures.
The Port of Liverpool was the “party room” with the amazing
stage for our singer and DJ’s, it was a done deal. We booked
our wedding for 26th April 2021. Unfortunately, when the
pandemic hit it put all our wedding plans on hold. I was
working in a children’s hospital and Tony was sadly made
redundant. As the rules of covid were changing all the time,
we made the very hard decision to postpone our wedding until
30th April 2022.
Wowtasitc!
After the ceremony we were whisked off to The Bentley where
we were met by Ryan and Jay with drinks of course and they
explained what the next steps were. We went up to the rooftop
which was just breath taking. All our guests were relaxing with
drinks and canapes whilst we and the wedding party had our
group pictures taken by our photographer’s, Wowtasitc. In
the middle of this, Ryan ushered us both downstairs to view
the rooms which were dressed by the amazing Rainbows
and they were exactly how we wanted them. The Cunard
room was perfect, better than we had ever imagined.
Tony and his best friend, Ryan set up their own business and
from then Tony worked every hour god sent to give me the day
I had always dreamed of. We were looked after from the very
