Another year of achievements, remembrances, milestones and celebrations hascome and gone for us all. Regular readers will know that at Rutherford we enjoysharing some of these moments with you. This year, we were overjoyed to welcomeour first granddaughter.We have continued to search the world to source rare pearls, gemstones andjewellery that will help you mark your own personal special events. On pages 19 and 21, you will glimpse the process with examples ofbeautifully crafted jewellery and sketches alongside. These include carved gemstonesand some unusually cut diamonds – pieces that are timeless, unique and distinctive.At Rutherford we cherish the beauty and history of purely natural diamonds.The worldwide demand for pearls has grown significantly over the last 12 months. AsMelbourne’s first pearl specialist, we are known for our vast range and are confidentwe have beautiful pieces to suit all tastes.
