Campion College is a federated college at the University of Regina. This
designation means Campion students receive the benefits of attending
a larger university while having access to more scholarship opportunities
and ongoing personalized services that only a smaller college can offer.
As the only Jesuit undergrad college in Canada, we believe education
should develop the whole person — intellectually, spiritually, and socially.
While we are founded on the Jesuit philosophy of education, which
unites academic excellence with a focus on ethical values and service to
others, there is NO religious requirement to be a member of the college.
We are here to help you earn a University of Regina degree and explore
who you are meant to be.

As a Campion student at the University of Regina, you will take U of R courses
with other U of R students and receive a U of R degree. Our Liberal Arts focus
provides students with real-world transferable skills needed in our everchanging,
fast-paced world.
Campion provides:
3 Access to over $150,000 in scholarships only available to
Campion students;
3 Personalized academic advising to ensure a healthy work/
life balance;
3 Better professor-to-student ratio in classes;
3 Specialized services like our Writing Centre, Math/Stats
Help Centre and Campus Ministry to ensure students have
the support they need to succeed;
3 A strong student community, including the Campion
College Students’ Union, Peer Support, and eligibility for
the Jesuit Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu;
3 Seminars facilitated in the Break-Through program
providing students with skills to enter the workplace with
confidence;
3 Reserve seating in popular Campion classes;
3 A headstart building connections with your college
community peers, professors, and more will help you enjoy
your time at University and be a more successful student.

those connections before classes even begin.
Campion College is on the
University of Regina main campus
which is situated on Treaty 4
lands. These are the territories
of the nêhiyawak, Anihšināpēk,
Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda,
and the homeland of the Métis/
Michif Nation.

• Campion will work with you to personalize a flexible class
schedule built around your life while completing your
pre-professional studies.
• All U of R applicable classes offered at the University of
Regina (including reserved Campion classes) are available
to you.
• NEW Certificate in Health and Medical Humanities
- For those interested in the health professions, this
new certificate provides the opportunity to frame the
professional contexts within the theoretical and applied
considerations of the health and medical humanities.

“When I was an undergraduate
at Campion,
I decided I wanted to
do something that felt
leading-edge. I got
interested in artificial
intelligence and then
found myself working
on computer vision for
robots. I worked on vision
systems for little drones
and the director of the
Mars Perseverance project
came to me and asked,
“Can you do that on Mars?”
Now that technology is up
there on the Perseverance,
exploring the Red Planet!”

Headstart

Start building connections with
your college community of peers,

before classes begin. The Headstart
program is a full day of activities that brings
students together in smaller groups to ask
questions, meet senior students, tour campus,
and finish the day with a group challenge.
Headstart is an add-on to the U of R Student
Orientation and is FREE for first-year students
at Campion College.

The Health and Medical
Humanities are a broad interdisciplinary
field that examine
the inter-relationships between
medicine, health, society, and culture across
a range of times and places. How human
societies in the past and present construct
and engage with health, wellness, illness,
medicine, healing, and the body form the
focus of this new certificate.

Engaged Learning — also known as
service learning — is an option for
some Campion classes. It applies
your theoretical knowledge from
class to the real world by volunteering for local
organizations. Students then write a paper or do
a project, relating the experience and classroom
learning as one of the assignments.
Catholic Studies minor

Catholic Studies will give you an
informed, adult-level understanding of
the Catholic Church’s beliefs, traditions,
and contributions to art, history, literary
studies, religious studies, philosophy, and the social
sciences. Explore some of the most challenging
and valuable themes of human existence, drawing
on insights such as human nature, the necessity of
grace, and the compatibility of faith, reason,
and freedom.
