Garden, which brings back to life the lost historic grounds at
Worsley New Hall, a grand Gothic-style mansion, demolished
in the 1940s. The £35 million re-development embraces the site's
heritage and is a true labour of love. A 60-minute guided tour
will give you a captivating insight into the history, plantings and
seasonal delights
Castlefield Viaduct & Guided Tour of Manchester Built in 1892,
the viaduct has been transformed into an urban ‘Garden in the
Sky’ to introduce greenery into a post-industrial landscape with
a focus on densely planted ferns, grasses and herbaceous
perennials. NB There is a public lift to access the viaduct. Guided
tour of Manchester follows, finishing at Salford Quays
