Eau Gallie ArtWorks
The 27th Annual ArtWorks of Eau
Gallie Fine Arts Festival will be
on the weekend before Thanksgiving.
This outdoor festival takes place along
Highland Avenue in Melbourne’s Eau
Gallie Arts District. The hours will be
10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am
to 4 pm on Sunday. ArtWorks advertises
nationally for artists. 80 artists
have been selected by judges to be in
the show. Half of the artists are from
Brevard County. The other artists are
from Florida and from out of state.
Many of the artists are award winners
in other shows nationwide.
ArtWorks is the only show of its
kind in Brevard County because of the
emphasis on art demonstrations. Artists
will display art for sale; and they will
create new artworks in their booths.
Or, the artists will have displays that
show how their art is created.
High school artists from Brevard
schools also participate in ArtWorks.
They will be creating and displaying
their art. Their booth will be on St.
Clair Street. Hands-on art activities for
kids of all ages will be on Highland
Ave. in front of the Eau Gallie Florist.
A food court will be in Eau Gallie
Square along with musical entertainment.
The Authors for Authors organization
will have its annual “Meet the
Authors” Book Fair in the Eau Gallie
Civic Center. Also in the Civic Center
will be the Brevard Porcelain Artists
Annual “Touch of Elegance” show and
sale. - No pets allowed at ArtWorks.
