ME TIME MATTERS SELF-CARE IDEAS Self-care has become a bit of a buzz word in the last few years—it even has 5.68 billion Google search results! But what exactly is self-care? To many, it’s the process of establishing personal behaviors and activities that promote and support your mental wellbeing. Even small tasks like a bedtime routine or morning walk are considered self-care rituals. If you’re looking for a few new ways to add more self-care into your life, here are some local ways to get you out and about and feeling better than ever. Volunteer at the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary. Any bibliophiles can support the Folsom Public Library by joining the volunteer team. Go on a solo lunch (or dinner!) date What says self-care more than a solo date with yourself?
