Schmidolins Dragon Park<br />
Through archways, over wave tracks, through the tunnel – and back to the start again! Fun, action<br />
and variety are guaranteed at this adventure area on the Schmittenhöhe. At the different<br />
“challenges”, kids can internalise what they’ve learned and finetune their technique.<br />
Trass descent - The Hahnenkamm slope of the Pinzgau region<br />
A descent with more than four kilometres in length and 70 percent gradient lies right ahead of<br />
you. The start is at the start box – only a few metres away from Elisabeth Chapel. First, head down<br />
blue slope number 1 – past the Panorama Restaurant and the trassXpress mountain station. Keep<br />
left and take a turn onto Breiteckalm. Then continue on black slope number 14. The track ends at<br />
the valley station of the Schmittenhöhebahn.<br />

Funslope XXL<br />
At the mountain station Hochmaisbahn 12 obstacles are waiting to be mastered by you! The<br />
Snowpark on the Schmittenhöhe is divided into two areas – one for beginners and one for<br />
advanced. That way, every skier and snowboarder can enjoy their time at the Snowpark to<br />
the fullest.<br />
Audi Ski Run<br />
Accompanied by a fully-automatic camera, you can head down the giant slalom course. And<br />
how else could it be: Every centisecond counts - just like during a real World Cup race! You find<br />
the Audi Ski Run at slope No. 5.

The path continues via Burgstein<br />
to the hiking trail, on which it goes along<br />
the Saalach back to the town center.<br />

To the Hecherhütte<br />
The hike to the Hecherhütte starts in the<br />
village centre. Follow the road and enjoy<br />
the view of the Glemmtal as well as the<br />
gentle serpentines through the forest.<br />
The sun terrace at the Hecherhütte<br />
invites you to linger and is an ideal<br />
meeting point with skiers - as it is<br />
located directly at slope no. 168.<br />

Follow the road uphill through the village<br />
to the flood barrier. Turn right and follow<br />
the road into the sun with a great<br />
view of <strong>Viehhofen</strong> and the Glemmtal.<br />

Niederbrand chapel<br />
Spend some quiet time on a hike to the Niederbrand<br />
chapel. Start at the tennis court<br />
and follow the signs. Your goal is a place of power<br />
where you can recharge your batteries.<br />

Rehrenberg round<br />
After the zellamseeXpress, turn right onto<br />
Windbachstraße. At the beginning the climb<br />
is a bit steep, cross the bridge and follow the<br />
road. In the curve (still in front of the Remberghof)<br />
a path leads you to the next bridge.<br />
Cross this and follow the road into the valley.<br />
Walking time: approx. 30 minutes<br />
Along the Saalach<br />
towards Maishofen<br />
The hiking trail along the Saalach takes<br />
you almost to Maishofen. On the<br />
way there is the Gasthof Glemmerhof<br />
and invites you to take a break.<br />
Tip: The hiking trail to Gasthof Glemmerhof is<br />
illuminated until 10 pm. and is therefore also<br />
suitable for evening excursions.<br />

til the end of the village and is accessible<br />

The ICE CAMP presented by Audi is THE meeting point in the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier ski resort<br />

resort, a new artistic synthesis of ice and snow is created here every year. The ICE CAMP<br />
presented by Audi is easily accessed via the pistes of the Kitzsteinhorn. Hikers walk across<br />
the sign-posted ICE CAMP Trail (walking time approx. 30 minutes) from the Alpincenter<br />
uphill to the igloo world of ice and snow. The sun deck and the outside Bar are the meeting<br />
points for cool drinks and relaxing music and to admire a world of ice and snow, with<br />
a new setting every year, from approx. January to mid-April.<br />

Night tobogganing daily from 04:00 pm to 09:00 pm at the <strong>Viehhofen</strong> practice lift next to<br />
the zellamseeXpress valley station. Plate slides can be rented at Ski Dome Oberschneider.<br />
Reiterkogelbahn in Hinterglemm<br />
Length: 3,2 km<br />
Operating hours: daily 08:30 am - 04:15 pm<br />
Night ride: Tue, Thu & Sat 04:15 – 09:30 pm (illuminated until 10:30 pm)<br />
For your own safety, only toboggans rented directly from the lift company can be used on<br />
the toboggan run. The use of the gondola (also night ascent) is included in the valid ski<br />
pass! Single tickets and evening cards available.<br />
Toboggan rentals per day: € 10,00 (available at the D1 Reiterkogel lift)<br />
Deposit per toboggan: € 50,00 (deposit will be refunded only by sled return on the<br />
same day till 05:00 pm (daytime operation) or 10:30 pm (nighttime operation).<br />

The Hecherhütte directly at the <strong>Viehhofen</strong> slope no. 168.<br />
Reachable on foot, by car (snow chains) or taxi.<br />

The zellamseeXpress in <strong>Viehhofen</strong> takes you to lofty heights<br />
on the Schmitten. After a short walk you reach the Hochzellerbahn<br />
(lift is included in the ticket). From the top station you walk<br />
further on to the Schnapshans Alm.<br />

At the Schönleitenbahn,(I1+I2) reachable by ski bus or public<br />
bus:<br />
next to the valley station: „Hochwart Tenne“ (3)<br />

The Maisalm at the Kohlmais, (H1+H2) reachable by skis on the<br />

Hinterglemm offers the Wieseralm (8) next to the Reiterkogel (D1)<br />
mountain station. With a nice walk you get to the Pfefferalm (9),<br />
from where you can continue your walk down to the valley.<br />

Directly at the mountain station of the Hochalmbahn (C1) is<br />
the 1350 Alm - a hut in modern alpine style.<br />

At the mountain station of the 12er Kogel (B1+B2), there is the 12er<br />
Treff (11) and next to the middle station the Bigfoot Bar and Winkler<br />
Alm (12) . On a walk from the middle station to the valley (approx. 2<br />
h) you can stop at the Ellmaualm (13) and the Hintermaisalm (14).<br />

Only a few metres from the top station of the Westgipfelbahn<br />
(A3+A4) you will find the Westgipfelhütte.<br />

At the top station of the SchattbergXpress (A1+A2) is the<br />
Skyrest situated.

Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm<br />

Getting up early is worth it, because from Mid-January the A9 Unterschwarzach lift, B1+B2 12er<br />
KOGEL, B3 12er Express, C1 Hochalm lift, C3 Hochalm 6-seater, D1 Reiterkogel lift, D2 Hasenauer<br />
8-seater, F1 Streuböden lift and H1+H2 Kohlmais lift are operating as of 08:00 am. Get your best runs<br />
of the day on the fresh slopes or powder – an experience you will surely not regret!<br />
Funslopes<br />
At the 12er KOGEL (B1+B2) you can speed into fast banked curves, dynamic snow waves, little<br />
jumps and last but not least an impressive giant fun twister made entirely out of snow. This highlight<br />
will spin you around and eventually get you to the exit through a snow tunnel.<br />
At the Funslope U-Bahn (A9) a classic Funslope at its best is waiting for you – with a “speedboost”,snow<br />
waves, a rapid banked turn, a tunnel and numerous “Low-Fives” you can clap as<br />
you pass by.<br />
And at the Bernkogel (G1) you find crazy elements such as snow tunnel, high-fives, giant xylophone,<br />
waves, ramps, steep turns and much more.<br />
Floodlit slope at the U-Bahn<br />
Beside an easy slope and a red alternative route at the upper section, the Family Park, the funslopes,<br />
SkiMovie racing parcours, and the high-speed snow tubing, offer the opportunity to have<br />
both fun and variety at the A9 Unterschwarzach lift in Hinterglemm.<br />

Cable car is included in a valid ski pass (also night ascent). For visitors without a valid ticket, single<br />

Skicircus Circuit<br />
The key figures of the Skicircus circuit are impressive: The lifts make it possible to experience<br />
the slopes of the Skicircus locations Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn<br />
and traverses 65 km and 12,400 metres in altitude. If you include short breaks, we are talking<br />
<strong>about</strong> a whole day tour which is probably the longest of its kind in the Alps.<br />
Brochures with essential <strong>information</strong> regarding the Skicircus circuits can be picked up at the<br />
ski ticket counters and the Tourism Service Center.
