We
Sofya Furniture Store Launched in 2022 into the Kenyan Market with a strong presence and market positioning that
placed the brand among well established furniture firms in a remarkable time period.
launched in a time when globally, Post-Covid Pandemic, businesses were
still just trying to recover. A war in Europe, an international forex challenge and
global economic upheaval.
Locally, we had a election coming on top of the already tense economic
environment. Couple that with rising cost of living and fuel price challenges,
the new adjusting to government policies. Furniture took a hit with new, higher
taxes on imports, which for us as a start up posed new unseen challenges
