Get the Best Vendors
Surround yourself with the best vendors! It will be the best investment for
your special day! And…never lose site of the love that brought this day!
Celebrate and enjoy all the little moments that the day brings—they are
truly the best memories of a day that is over in a blink of a eye!

Communicate...and Hire an
Amazing Photographer and
Videographer.
I would advise couples to communicate and
enjoy it, it happens and is over too fast! There’s a
sweetness to planning your wedding! Also, please
take time to hire an amazing photographer and
videographer. Your day is going to be a blur, there
are going to be moments you are not present
for, but your media team will be. After the day
ends, images and videos will be all that you have
to relive the day. Enjoy it and don’t overthink or
stress about small details, no one remembers the
kind of napkins you have, they remember the fun
dancing and love they witnessed!

Time for DIY
We DIYed a lot of things which was nice to
save money but also really a lot of work. I’d
recommend getting as much done as early
as possible. We waited too long and had
to cram lots into the last month and week
especially.

Get a Planner
I cannot recommend hiring at least a
day-of coordinator enough! The amount
of stress Dee and her team saved me was
more than worth the cost of their services.
It is invaluable having someone from the
wedding industry on your team. They
know the ins and outs of the industry and
will be there to support and guide you
through this emotional time.

Have a Clear Plan
Our biggest advice to couples
planning their wedding would
be to make a clear plan for the
day for everyone involved, wedding
vendors, wedding party
and family, so that they know
where they need to be and when.
Having those things planned ahead
of time will make the day of so much
less stressful and will help you be able to be
in the moment and enjoy it.

Enjoy the Process
Stay consistent. Do a little bit
every day and make it fun. Try to
enjoy every moment even though
it can be stressful at times. Also
make sure to set aside time to
spend with your significant other
outside of wedding planning.

Be Sure to Eat
I would have had a bigger breakfast!
I was so anxious that I forgot to eat
in the morning. Don’t forget to eat!

Ask for Help
Do not be afraid to ask for help. We originally went into wedding
planning with the mindset that we wanted to do everything
ourselves. However, we came to realize what a huge burden this
was. When we finally asked for help, a lot of stress was lifted
off our shoulders.
