Jazz on Sunday<br />

› The Blue Skies<br />

Jazz Quartet will visit<br />

<strong>Haddonfield</strong> on at 2pm<br />

on Sun Feb 18 for the<br />

next presentation by the<br />

Tri-State Jazz Society.<br />

The Quartet plays<br />

blues, swing jazz, and<br />

standard traditional jazz<br />

– all from the first half of<br />

the 20th century. They<br />

have entertained crowds<br />

for over thirty years with<br />

repeat performances at<br />

many Central New Jersey<br />

institutions.<br />

Jerry Rife, clarinet<br />

and soprano saxophone,<br />

grew up playing jazz in<br />

New Jersey and across<br />

the Midwest. Danny<br />

TobIas is a sought-after<br />

trumpet player in East<br />

Coast jazz circles. Pat<br />

Mercuri plays guitar<br />

and banjo in many jazz<br />

bands. Peter ReichIin<br />

is a versatile horn<br />

player specializing on<br />

trombone, but equally at<br />

home on tuba and bass.<br />

The venue is the<br />

sanctuary of the<br />

Methodist Church.<br />

General admission is<br />

$20. ($10 for members.)<br />

Full-time students (with<br />

ID) and children are free.<br />
