This is what our carpets have been called many times, but our mission is more than just creating a rug.

The result is an unique craftsmanship that carries the seal of quality „ Made in Isfahan“.
The Collection
Persia Reinvented reinterprets the classical Persian carpet completely.
Ancient traditional patterns have been revised, creating
a state of the art modern classic.
Using handspun Persian cork- and highland wool with pure natural silk.
Two different knotcounts are offered, 400.000 knots per sqm and the
exclusive 1.000.000 knots per sqm quality.
TABRIZ
Hossein Rezvani’s signature piece. “The exploded rug” is what he calls the design. To be seen in the middle is a very large ornament
pressing outwards, the rest “got lost”. Different color tones are mixed into a slightly lively background of wool, from which the
ornament rises out of pure natural silk. Tabriz Lilac was awarded with the Red Dot Design Award 2011 and the German Design Award 2013.
Tabriz is offered with a knot density of 400.000 knots per sqm, Persian highland wool with 35% pure natural silk and in the exclusive
1.000.000 knot quality, using Persian Cork-wool with 35% pure natural silk.

Kerman has been a major center for the production of high quality carpets since the 15th century. Since then Kerman’s
designers have been the most inventive and their weaving techniques of a sophistication not seen in other parts of the Persian
empire. In the 18th century some authors considered the carpets from the province to be the finest of all Persian carpets.
Hossein Rezvani has taken the Kerman design to the 21-st century by giving it a fresh contemporary look. Kerman is offered with
a knot density of 400.000 knots per sqm using Persian highland wool and pure natural silk. The silkshare goes up to 70%.

Mamluk Shifted
The rationale was that shifts of attention between objects require object-based attention to disengage from one object before shifting to
another, something that is not required for shifts of attention within an object. The result seen here though, suggest that the object
advantage commonly found in visual cuing experiments in which shifts of attention are required is primarily due to disengage operations
associated with object-based attention.

BAKHTIAR
The essence of a rug. The design reduces the pattern to the essential, to the so-called “rug backbone”. Bakhtiar
comes across as a simplified woodcarving of an Oriental classic because of the use of two colors. Here too the
background is made of wool, the pattern knotted of silk.
Bakhtiar is offered with a knot density of 400.000 knots per sqm, Persian highland wool with 40% pure natural silk.

FRENCHIE
French nostalgia. The series picks up the pattern of classically hand-woven Aubusson, but designs it more minimalistically. “You
don’t find the faded vintage look in my collections otherwise, but here you do”, explains Rezvani. “Because here it fits perfectly.”
Frenchie is offered with a knot density of 400.000 knots per sqm, Persian highland wool with 35% pure natural silk and in the
exclusive 1.000.000 knot quality, using Persian Cork-wool with 35% pure natural silk.

KAASCHI
Kaaschi literally means tile in Persian and that says it all for this design.
The impact of Persian tiles occupies a prominent place in the history of Islamic art. Recognized for having one of
the richest and varied art legacies, Persia used this form of art to decorate palaces, public buildings,
monuments, mausoleums, and religious buildings, such as mosques and theological schools. It was these classic
Persian mosaics that inspired Hossein Rezvani for this collection.
Kaaschi is offered with a knot density of 400.000 knots per sqm, Persian highland wool with 40% pure natural silk.

UNDYED-CLASSICS
Not only the combination of traditional and contemporary designs make Rezvani’s carpets „21st-century Persian carpets“ – the issue of
sustainability, which is more important than ever today, also plays a decisive role in the production. Thus the new Undyed collection
exclusively uses undyed, untreated natural sheep wool and makes it the most environmentally friendly and most ecologically way ever to
produce a carpet. In addition, through the production manner, each carpet is absolutely unique – none looks like the other. At the moment
the models Tabriz, Saphir, Golfarang and Sahar are offered as an Undyed carpets.
Tabriz and Saphir are offered with a knot density of 400.000 knots per sqm. Undyed Persian highland wool with 35% pure natural silk.

GOLFARANG
Golfarang means literally translated „foreign flower“ and exactly this can be found in the design of the carpet. The
patterns of flower bouquets and delicate tendrils – already used with pleasure in France during the 19th century – were
translated into Persian carpet design at the time of the Qajar dynasty, to satisfy the desire for continental influence.
Rezvani translates this motif into the modern age.
Golfarang is offered with a knot density of 350.000 knots per sqm. Undyed Persian highland wool with 20% pure natural silk.

SAHAR
Sahar is reminiscent of a desert storm. Of irregular, always differently formed drifts of the
sand. Of a mirage which appears, finally, on the horizon and combines the various contours
into a complete work of art. The mysterious lines and the individual reflections lend its
extravagant look to Sahar.
Sahar is offered with a knot density of 350.000 knots per sqm. Undyed Persian highland wool
with 30% pure natural silk.

ISFAHAN
The city of Isfahan in the southwest of Iran, in which Rezvani also produces, is the stronghold of the carpet weaving
art. During the 17th century, it belonged to the richest and most splendid towns of the world, and this is reflected in
Rezvani’s design. The model is a new edition of a noble classic – with traditional arabesques and floral patterns, which
the designer has interpreted classy and modern at the
same time.
Isfahan is offered with a knot density of 400.000 knots per sqm, Persian highland wool with 35% pure natural silk and
