CHARLES THE THIRD, by the Grace <strong>of</strong> God, King <strong>of</strong> Canada<br />

and His other Realms and Territories, Head <strong>of</strong> the Commonwealth<br />

To all to whom these presents shall come – Greeting<br />

WHEREAS the British Columbia <strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong> is an important voice for representing businesses <strong>of</strong> all sizes in<br />

this province, and the network <strong>of</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong>s <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong> (<strong>Chamber</strong>s) and Boards <strong>of</strong> Trade (Boards) helps support the<br />

prosperity <strong>of</strong> businesses and communities throughout British Columbia, and<br />

WHEREAS <strong>Chamber</strong>s and Boards leverage platforms and tools to ask questions, encourage conversations, spark<br />

discussions and act on the insights gained to further business and community development, and<br />

WHEREAS <strong>Chamber</strong>s and Boards advocate for businesses and communities, support innovation and progress, and work<br />

with all levels <strong>of</strong> government to support and advocate for policy development based on innovative ideas, on-the-ground<br />

experience and evidence-based data, and<br />

WHEREAS the government <strong>of</strong> British Columbia is committed to working with the <strong>BC</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong> to support<br />

sustainable economic growth in communities throughout the province, and<br />

WHEREAS the government <strong>of</strong> British Columbia recognizes the significant role that <strong>Chamber</strong>s and Boards play in<br />

supporting economically competitive and sustainable communities and regions, and in providing opportunities for<br />

sustainable progress for all who invest, work and live in British Columbia;<br />

NOW KNOW YE THAT We do by these presents proclaim and declare that <strong>February</strong> <strong>12</strong> to <strong>16</strong>, <strong>2024</strong>, shall be known as<br />

in the Province <strong>of</strong> British Columbia.<br />

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, We have caused these Our Letters to be made Patent and the Great Seal <strong>of</strong> Our Province<br />

<strong>of</strong> British Columbia to be hereunto affixed.<br />

WITNESS, The Honourable Janet Austin, Lieutenant Governor <strong>of</strong> Our Province <strong>of</strong> British Columbia, in Our City <strong>of</strong><br />

Victoria, in Our Province, this first day <strong>of</strong> <strong>February</strong>, two thousand twenty-four and in the second year <strong>of</strong> Our Reign.<br />
