Feel relaxation –
Muscles in balance
Massages for body and soul
Tips for self-massage
We all know it - back and neck pain from sitting in
front of a computer screen for long periods of time
or from stressful everyday life, but also hip and knee
complaints, fatigue, headaches often have their
origin in the muscles. If the muscles are in balance,
movement and sports are easier, one can regenerate
faster and feel more efficient, even the concentration
increases.
Under the heat and the different grips, muscle tensions
are released. Through the stimuli, such as stretching,
the tension in the muscle decreases and is let
go, massaging can also treat hardening and adhesions
of the muscles.
Stroking, kneading, rubbing, tapping and vibrating
can penetrate into the deep layers of tissue and thus
stimulate blood circulation and cell metabolism in
the tissue. Through increased blood circulation, the
treated regions are better supplied with nutrients and
waste products are removed more quickly.
Regular massages not only have a positive effect on
muscle balance, but also on general body awareness,
psyche, sleep, stimulate metabolism and the immune
system.
The hand reflex zones:
A hand massage is particularly relaxing and effective.
It is easily performed by stroking the back of the
hand, massaging the palm, pulling and rubbing the
fingers and stroking with the ball of the hand.
Shoulder and neck area:
Very slowly tilt your head sideways, then forward,
consciously breathing into the stretch and allowing
gravity to work. Hold each position for one minute
- do not forcefully overstretch. You will see that the
neck and shoulder area feels lighter afterwards. Then
stretch and knead the neck muscles from the head
down. This promotes blood circulation.
Spot self-massage:
For this we recommend a tennis ball. Lie flat on your
back, relax your neck muscles. Place the back of your
head on the self-massage ball. Start at the hollow at
the back of the head and slowly move downwards.
