West Sioux Schools<br />
The West Sioux Community School<br />
District includes the communities of<br />
Hawarden, Ireton and Chatsworth, serving<br />
nearly 800 students.<br />
The district boasts 98.85 percent participation<br />
in English and Mathematics<br />
assessment testing, and a 96.8 percent<br />
graduation rate, both above the state<br />
average. The district offers an honors<br />
program, dual credit college classes<br />
and a chapter of the National Honor<br />
Society. The school competes in the War<br />
Eagle Conference and participation in<br />
extra-curricular and co-curricular activities<br />
is strong, with teams and groups<br />
seeing much success in their endeavors.<br />
