Nature Center hosts
day of fun on March 29
Kiddos have no school?
No worries.
The Dickinson County Nature Center
has you covered.
They will be hosting a No School Camp Day
from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, March 29, for kids
in grades fifth-eighth.
The theme will be Nature’s Makers, where
youth will make a difference in nature.
Not only will kids get to make a difference
in nature, but they will also get to make some
fun projects and develop valuable skills to
take home.
Some projects include creating prairie seed
bombs to launch into the prairie, making a
DIY natural chapstick for the summer season,
learning fire-building skills, and more. Youth
will also assist with a public service project
within Kenue Park to further conservation efforts.
The cost of the camp is $15, and registration
can be found under the Programs/Events page
at www.dickinsoncountynaturecenter.com.
Registration closes at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March
27.
