Citizen of the Year Award
2024
We are calling for nominations for 2024 Citizen of the Year.
It is the Community’s way of saying thank you for making
life better for everyone in our communities!
In making a nomination, keep in mind a few simple
guidelines:
• The award aims to recognize volunteer
contributions, not paid work.
• Nominees can be residents of Kaslo or Area D.
• The nominee cannot have previously received
this honour.
• We look for nominees who selflessly volunteer their
time to help make life better for neighbours, friends
and even people they don’t know. Their contributions
can be big or small. When evaluating the nominations,
thoughtful consideration is given to those whose good
deeds are not necessarily well known.
• Deadline for submissions is June 7, 2024.
• The award will be presented at Kaslo’s birthday
celebration on August 16th at 1:30pm.
Nominations can be mailed to:
Citizen of the Year 2024, Village of Kaslo
Box 576, Kaslo, BC, V0G 1M0, or
dropped off at the Village office or
emailed to: admin@kaslo.ca
This award is sponsored by the
Village of Kaslo.
