For 15 years, Armonico Consort has been in dem<strong>and</strong> by festivals in the UK <strong>and</strong><br />
Europe to perform its inimitable version of Purcell’s Dido & Aeneas. The singers <strong>and</strong><br />
actors of the company now turn their attention to Purcell’s greatest semi opera in a<br />
br<strong>and</strong> new semi staged version with a specially adapted script from Shakespeare’s<br />
‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’ create for the first time a<br />
modern day retelling of both of these incredible works in<br />
one joyous evening!<br />
Armonico Consort will conjure up Purcell’s world of<br />
dreams <strong>and</strong> darkness, love <strong>and</strong> laughter in a not to be<br />
missed evening!<br />
