The Uxbridge Senior Center<br />
is proud to present a live<br />
eight-week session of Low<br />
Impact Exercise classes for Seniors.<br />
This is a fitness program<br />
that will include light cardio<br />
with full body toning. This is<br />
an 8 week specialized program<br />
designed for seniors.<br />
The program will begin<br />
Thursday, June 6 from 2:45-<br />
3:45p.m. at the Uxbridge Senior<br />
Center Satellite Site which<br />
is located at the McCloskey<br />
School at 62 Capron Street.<br />
The class will run for one hour,<br />
one day a week, on Thursdays,<br />
for an eight-week time frame,<br />
at the cost of a $25donation.<br />
The instructor, Pamela Landi,<br />
is a certified personal trainer.<br />
Checks may be payable to the<br />
Uxbridge Senior Center.<br />
The benefits of exercise include<br />
improved balance, range<br />
of motion and coordination.<br />
Additional benefits include<br />
increase blood flow to the<br />
brain enhancing attention and<br />
concentration skills, as well as<br />
burning calories and meeting<br />
new friends! These workouts<br />
are safe and can be done at any<br />
fitness level.<br />
There will be an option of<br />
doing these exercises seated or<br />
standing. The class would be<br />
open to all in the community<br />
including those outside the<br />
Town of Uxbridge.<br />
Interested individuals should<br />
call or stop by the Uxbridge Senior<br />
Center at 508-278-8622 for<br />
more information and receive<br />
their application and waiver<br />
forms prior to the start of the<br />
program. The Center is located<br />
at 36 <strong>South</strong> Main Street in<br />
Uxbridge and is open Monday<br />
thru Friday from 8 a.m. - 4p.m.<br />
