Do you want a dongle for all purposes? Then
CodeMeter is your choice! You only need to
order one product to protect single licenses,
network licenses, modular licenses and timelimited
licenses.
This simplifies your inventory management – no
different SKUs with different prices and you
always have the right dongle ready to send
to your customer. But the best of all: you can
even convert a single license to multiple user
network licenses after shipping to a customer
by remote control.
The standard situation
The price for CodeMeter is the sum of the
hardware cost and the license it protects. It is
then up to you to program your licenses into
the CodeMeter Stick. This is comparable with
a license for a software product: not about CD-
ROM product cost but intellectual properties.
But why telling you this? You as the software
developer are familiar with this.
Independent of the CmStick variant, you receive
a cover product in different colors or, for the
metal variant, a cap. Usually you have three (or
two) positions on your calculation:

the dongle. The only other option which influences
the price of the hardware is the size of
the optional flash memory.
