passed away on Sunday,<br />
<strong>May</strong> 12, <strong>2024</strong>, at <strong>the</strong> Good<br />
Samaritan Society in Manson.<br />
A memorial service<br />
will be held at 11:00 a.m.<br />
on Monday, <strong>May</strong> 20, <strong>2024</strong>,<br />
at <strong>the</strong> Larson- Weishaar<br />
Funeral Home in Manson.<br />
Visitation will be held from<br />
10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to <strong>the</strong><br />
service at <strong>the</strong> funeral home.<br />
June was <strong>the</strong> daughter<br />
<strong>of</strong> Morrison and Anna<br />
(Rath) Ellis. She was born<br />
on November 6, 1927 in<br />
Pocahontas <strong>County</strong>. She attended<br />
country school and<br />
graduated from Jolley high<br />
School in 1945. On August<br />
24th, 1947 she married William<br />
Namanny <strong>of</strong> Ida Grove.<br />
They made <strong>the</strong>ir home on<br />
<strong>the</strong> Namanny Farm in Ida<br />
Grove and <strong>the</strong>n in 1952<br />
moved to <strong>the</strong> Ellis Farm new<br />
Jolley. In 1957 <strong>the</strong>y moved<br />
to Rockwell City to operate<br />
<strong>the</strong> Standard Service Station.<br />
In 1971 <strong>the</strong>y moved to<br />
Emmetsburg to operate a<br />
discount store and in 1974<br />
<strong>the</strong> store was destroyed by<br />
a fire. June was a dietician<br />
and worked at <strong>the</strong> Palo Alto<br />
<strong>County</strong> Hospital retiring in<br />
1995. William passed away<br />
in 2000 and June moved to<br />
West Des Moines and <strong>the</strong>n<br />
to Manson in 2006.<br />
June is survived by her<br />
children Linda Hildreth<br />
and Susan (Mike) Hickman<br />
both <strong>of</strong> Waukee, IA, Sandra<br />
Nimke <strong>of</strong> Manson, IA, Timothy<br />
<strong>of</strong> Euless, TX, and Lori<br />
Wray <strong>of</strong> Waukee, IA; son-inlaw<br />
Steve Kinnetz; daughter-in-law<br />
