20 ft downstream from bridge on county highway, 2.3 miles downstream from drainage ditch 3, 3.0 miles sou<br />

of Clare, and 8.2 miles (revised) upstream from South Lizard Creek.<br />

DRAINAGE AREA.--257 sq mi.<br />

PERIOD OF RECORD.--March 1940 to-September 1970. Prior to April 1940, monthly discharge only published in<br />

WSP 1308. Prior to October 1954, published as North Lizard Creek near Clare.<br />

fAGE.--Water- r *age recorder. Concrete control since Oct. 11, 1956. Datum of gage<br />

level. P.ior to May 6, 1953, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.<br />

AVERAGE DISCHARGE--30 years, 89.9 cfs (4.75 inches per year, 65,130 acre-ft per year).<br />
