Effective Organizations Make an
Impact on Baja California’s Coastline -
The Baja Keeper Network
Thanks to the support of Environment Now and
the recent commitment of an anonymous group of
donors, the International Community Foundation
is able to further strengthen the organizational
capacity of the waterkeepers along the Baja
California peninsula.
Magdalena Baykeeper
The International Community Foundation is proud
to support these organizations by providing fiscal
sponsorship through their “friends of” funds and
to collaborate closely with them on both
programmatic and funding opportunities. Shown
here are the six individuals that lead the work to
test water quality, monitor coastal development,
and implement environmental education and
media campaigns along the Baja California
peninsula. To learn more about the waterkeepers,
