6 Ulm Town Hall
One of the city‘s most attractive buildings.
The southern gable features the arms of the
towns and states with trade links to Ulm
and an old Danube barge (Ulmer Schachtel).
7 Ulm Museum
Prehistoric and early historical archaeological
artefacts (e.g. the Lion Man). 20th
century European and American art with the
Kurt Fried Collection.
8 Adlerbastei
The „Tailor from Ulm“, A. L. Berblinger,
performed his unsuccessful attempt at flight
over the Danube here in 1811.
9 Synagoge
The restored synagogue is in the area of the
historic „Weinhof“.

10 Kornhaus
Along with the Natural History Centre,
this building forms a lively museum
focussing on mineralogy, geology, palaeontology,
botany and zoology.
11 Museum der Brotkultur
Located in the Salzstadel. Permanent exhibition
on the history of milling and baking
as well as the significance of bread for
mankind in the past and present.
12 Neue Stadtbibliothek
The glass pyramid has been an additional
eyecatcher in Ulm since 2004.

Shopping in Ulm
All around the Minster, you‘ll find a
colourful mixture of small shops which are
often accommodated in lovingly restored
buildings. The Hirschstraße shopping street
is home to the major department stores and
international chains.
Ulm‘s „new centre“

Weishaupt, the Münstertor department
store and the Forum Sparkasse.
