St. Alexius Medical Center on
Its 125th Anniversary
City Administration
I
want
to
congratulate
St.
Alexius
Medical
Center
on
its
125th
anniversary.

I
admire
the
first
Benedictine
sisters
who
so
bravely
came
to
our
region.
Their
tradition
is
being
carried
on
today
by
the
current
sisters,
who
through
their
wisdom
and
dedication,
have
propelled
St.
Alexius
into
a
nationally‐recognized
medical
center.

St.
Alexius
was
founded
before
Bismarck
was
a
city
and
has
been
providing
quality,
state‐of‐the‐art
healthcare
to
our
entire
region
since
its
inception.
At
the
heart
of
the
success
of
St.
Alexius
is
the
dedicated
and
talented
staff
of
healthcare
providers,
administrators,
and
support
staff
who
make
St.
Alexius
what
it
is
today.

I
thank
St.
Alexius
for
what
they
have
done
for
Bismarck
and
our
region
and
wish
them
the
best
of
luck
on
their
next
125
years.
Sincerely,

More than 20 million trees are cut each year to
make new books. More than ever, it is time we realized the
value of renting and reusing textbooks. Chegg.com, an online
textbook rental company, has built a brand that encourages
students to help replenish and protect the environment by renting,
reusing and recycling their textbooks. Another unique approach
to follow a zero waste program involves downloading textbooks
from the Internet. Online shops, such as shmoop.com, sell a
variety of e-books for the Amazon Kindle e-book and study guide
applications for the IPOD touch.
overlook those who are quiet, compassionate,
humble and dependable.
