HSM machines incorporate high levels of driver

the latest standards. HSM cabins are generously
designed with perfect allround visibility, comfortable
revolving seat with ergonomically shaped
joysticks and CMC control. Drivers of HSM machines

HSM 208F 8.5 Ton
Smallest in the HSM forwarder range, the 208F
8.5 Ton is designed primarily for first thinning
operations, ideal for fuel and pulp wood extraction.
This compact 8 WD machine is extremely
agile and manoeuvrable in all terrain conditions.
It is a light weight forwarder designed to carry
2 x 2 mtr assortments and is equipped with the
Loglift F51 crane enabling fast loading and
unloading operations, the ideal choice for
handling small round wood efficiently.

Monolithic Design System
HSM forwarders are available in power classes
from 100 kW to 175 kW and available with a wide
range of optional equipment. HSM supply
forwarders to suit every requirement from first
thinning to final felling. Our highly efficient
monolithic design approach enables HSM to
provide our customers with forwarders to suit their
exact requirements without the intervention of a
third party to carry out complex modifications.
Close consultation with our customers, together
with the fact that complete bespoke machines are
manufactured entirely by HSM, ensures the highest
quality and standards are upheld.
Highly Flexible Design

technology constructed to the highest standard.
By intensive communication with our clients we
are able to identify their machine requirements
and transfer them directly into our production
schedule, resulting in well presented, technically
designed options, for example bogie lifts, dozer
blades and tilting cranes. Customers appreciate

HSM 208F 9 Ton
The 208F 9 Ton forwarder is specifically designed
for handling short wood in cut-to-length situations,
well suited to thinning operations. This highly
productive machine is fitted as standard with the
Loglift F51 crane and bunks suitable for carrying
2 x 2.5 mtr. Its strong construction and high power
reserves, typical HSM quality and reliability, make
it extremely efficient even in the most difficult
stands.

HSM 208F 6 WD
With a payload of 10 Ton (with ease), the HSM
208F 6 WD has the largest carrying capacity of
all the 4 cylinder HSM forwarders. Characterised
by its 6 WD concept, it has proven tractive ability
and all-terrain performance. This compact,
reliable and efficient forwarder has grown in
popularity in recent years.

Conserving Trafficability to Protect
Soils
We need the most up-to-date technology in order
to guarantee the productivity of our forests and
HSM is especially committed to this endeavour.
The objective is to maintain skidding lanes and
extraction routes, enabling increased
timber volumes to be extracted without
excessive damage. HSM has
worked tirelessly towards this endeavour
with the development of narrow
width, highly stable machines with
wide tyres. No other manufacturer
has pursued this construction concept
like HSM. This is a testament
to HSM’s support for sustainable
forests.
Driven by Technology
Long-life Iveco engines with the latest common
rail technology, provide exceptional fuel economy
and offer the perfect combination of high
performance and exceptional engine smoothness,
with low exhaust emissions (TIER3-Standard).
The optimally adjusted drive concept “Hydrostat”
allows for the highest traction forces to be
efficiently transmitted on all types of terrain whilst
being sensitive and gentle on the forest floor. With
the 2-Motor-Hydrostatic-Drive, HSM has shown its
power of innovation and reactivity to the
preferences of the costumers. The drive concept
will be rounded by high-performance axles from
NAF.
This technology combines comfort, ergonomics
and reliability resulting in optimum economic
efficiency and productivity as well as protecting
our environment.

HSM 208F 11 Ton / 12 Ton
The HSM 208F 12 Ton forwarder has a powerful
and economical Iveco 6 cylinder engine, an
innovative 2-motor-hydrostatic drive and high
performance working hydraulics.
This superbly strong 12 Ton machine has the
capacity to carry 2 x 3 mtr payloads efficiently
with crane size options up to Loglift F111.
This machine is available in a compact format
(208F 11 Ton) with bunks suitable for 2 x 2.5 mtr
and a maximum payload of 11 Tons with the
largest crane option being Loglift F 91.
Both machines have extremely tight turning
angles in relation to the wheel base dimensions
and this together with optimal weight distribution,
places these forwarders top of their class.

suitable to meet customers’ requirements.

HSM 208F Kombi
Universally excellent for short wood or long timber
handling.
The 208F Kombi is based on the proven design
of the 208F 12 Ton forwarder and is the ideal
solution where multiple harvesting methods are
practised. This very powerful high performance
8-WD-Combination-Machine is available with high
quality Adler winches, quick-change-system clambunk
or a slewing last bunk, making its uses for
extraction almost limitless.

the above requirements. As our ‘flagship’
forwarder it is designed and constructed for

14 Ton is to produce maximum performance
