Welcome to the 2012/2013 Membership Directory of the American Chamber of Commerce in Latvia.
Over the course of the past membership year, AmCham continued to build on its record of success
as the leading international business organization in Latvia, in providing its members with a forum to
access key decision makers in Latvian business and politics.
In order to improve the investment climate in Latvia, we continued to encourage business ethics and
transparency by undertaking joint efforts with other business organizations. We have maintained the
Chamber’s thought leadership with our Outlook seminar series, providing you timely debates on the key
economic and social issues of the day including on topics such as the investment climate, governance
of Latvia’s ports, demographic change and the efficiency of the Latvian court system. We have also
taken initiatives in advocacy, particularly focusing on capital markets development, procurement and
transport issues, thus making our members’ concerns heard by policy-makers at the highest levels
of government. you are invited to take part in such advocacy efforts and raise issues relevant to your
business, by participating in the working groups of AmCham or the Foreign Investors’ Council in Latvia
(FICIL).
AmCham will continue to serve as a vibrant forum for the international and local business communities
to exchange views, network and connect with decision makers.
