Yeoman Baumineralien GmbH has
been serving the German market with
high class aggregates for 25 years
by importing high quality granite
from Yeoman Glensanda and
Halsvik Aggregates super quarries
to four large depots in Hamburg,
Brunsbüttel, Rostock and
Wilhelmshaven. The aggregates
are primarily used in construction
projects across Northern Germany,
from ready-mixed concrete and
asphalt to road and rail construction.
In Hamburg, the raw, unprocessed
aggregate is supplied direct from
ships to a combination of open
stockpiles and a sophisticated grid
of underground tunnels. Hamburg’s
totally enclosed screening plant can
process up to 6,000 tonnes of
aggregate per day, blended to
customer requirements and exact
specifications and loaded directly
on to a fleet of dedicated lorries.

There is a network of Aggregate Industries depots supplying approximately
2 million tonnes each year in northern Germany, all perfectly placed at major
sea terminals, to supply an ever increasing demand for high quality aggregates.
The processing plants which screen,
blend and wash material are gravity
fed, making them extremely energy
efficient. Using the latest technologies,
they are fully computerised with self
loading and weighing systems, which
guarantees swift delivery of high quality
products to the client’s specific
requirements, on time, every time.

Brunsbüttel, Rostock and
