Loewe Pivot follows your course. This is how adaptable the

for comprehensive real-time information and everything that’s 

important to you personally – from all channels. A screen of 

magnificent proportions, landscape: if, for example, you pick 

out a film and select it, the Loewe Pivot automatically rotates 

through 90° to sit horizontally. And the integrated Sound 

Projector cocoons you with brilliant sound from all sides.

knows no speed limit – the motion playback of up to 200Hz, which is doubled to up to 

400Hz courtesy of the synchronised pulsating LEDs, guarantees unique sharpness

3D home cinema in Loewe perfection. 

Ever since 1922, when the first feature-length film with 3D effects in red/green 

images was screened, people have been fascinated by this technology: by a cinema 

which moves us in a special way and by images that the audience can almost touch! 

However, it took quite a while before 3D was ready for the living room – without 

compromising picture quality and convenience. Now the moment has arrived: 

that’s why we created 3D home cinema in Loewe perfection. The combination of 

3D glasses, Blu-ray player and TV screen, which all perfectly complement each other, 

ensure entirely natural spatial depth – thereby ensuring that the world around you 

is forgotten as you are immersed in another. 

3D TV in Loewe perfection works like this: 

The Loewe 3D flat-screen TV is synchronised 

with the Loewe Active 3D glasses via infrared 

signal. When the screen shows the picture for 

the left eye, the right lens of the 3D glasses is 

blacked out and vice versa. This alternation takes 

place within milliseconds, allowing the viewer to 

experience the spatial effect of 3D.

We’ve all been there: the match goes to penalties – and at the very same time the 

telephone rings or someone arrives at the door. You just want to stop time – or at least 

the live programme. That’s why we created Loewe DR+, which is integrated in many 

Loewe TVs. Just a touch of a button suffices to activate the hard disk recorder. You 

can also rewind to watch decisive scenes several times over. And with just one more 

touch of the remote, the programme is resumed – even in another room if you like. 

With Loewe’s new DR+ Streaming technology with intelligent Follow-me Function, your 

DR+ recordings can be streamed effortlessly throughout the home via the network – 

wirelessly to boot. And all in brilliant HDTV quality – and even in 3D!

Slim. But it’s got the lot. 

Everyone would like to save on energy bills and protect the environment. But that 

doesn’t have to mean going without perfect entertainment – for all this, there’s 

Loewe. Numerous functions, which are usually found on external devices, are 

already integrated. Loewe LED backlight technology not only creates pictures which 

are particularly vibrant and rich in contrast – but also dramatically reduces energy 

consumption. With contrast control that responds to ambient light and automatically 

adjusts the TV picture to its surroundings, further energy savings can be made. And

The story of perfection in home entertainment has been more than just shaped by 

Loewe – Loewe brought it into being. Brothers Dr Siegmund and David Ludwig Loewe 

founded “Radiofrequenz GmbH” in Berlin in 1923. Just eight years later, together with their 

chief engineer Manfred von Ardenne, they presented the electronic television – for the 

first time in the world. The pioneering spirit which led to the invention of this revolutionary 

technology is still evident in each and every Loewe home entertainment system.

1931 

“Radio AG D.S. Loewe” opened a new window to 

the world at the 8th Berlin Radio Show: with the 

first electronic film transmission. Television as we 

know it had been invented. 

1951 

The decade in which the Queen was crowned, 

Elvis became King, football reigned supreme 

in Germany – and everybody could be there. 

With the first Loewe television to be produced 

in volume. Loewe Iris. 

1963 

Dreams come true, borders are fluid, even the 

moon is close enough to reach … Loewe gives it to 

people to hold. With our first portable television. 

Loewe Optaport. 

1967 

No more tired greys. The world is no longer seen 

in black and white. Life is colourful – on the first 

Loewe colour TV. Loewe F900 Color. 

1981 

MTV goes on air, ushering in the era of the music 

video. Loewe brings music and television together – 

with Europe’s first stereo colour television. 

Loewe Stereo. 

1985 

Picture and sound complement each other – 

creating a new, exciting entity. A television 

becomes a design icon, and has since found 

its place in a museum. Loewe Art 1. 

1998 

Who would have thought that there could be a 

television without cathode ray tubes? Loewe 

created a synthesis of excellence in a plasma 

television – for home entertainment in perfection. 

Loewe Spheros. 

2005 

Again a world premiere. Loewe invented the 

television you can design yourself – no other 

home entertainment system offers the same 

degree of creative freedom. Loewe Individual.
