Stock equipment orders ship within 72 hours. Allow 14 working days 

for drop ships. Screen print orders will ship within 14 working days 

from the artwork approval date. Embroidered garments and custom 

team caps ship within 14 working days from artwork approval date.

FREIGHT: 

Sport Chalet Team Sales uses UPS exclusively with the exception of 

drop ships and large or heavy items. Shipments within the one-day or 

two-day zones will ship via ground service. All other zone shipments 

will ship 3 Day Select. Freight charges usually run between 10-15% 

of the shipment value. Hawaii and Alaska ship two-day service and 

applicable charges will apply. There is a minimum freight charge of 

$7.00 per order, regardless of the order value. All freight charges are 

prepaid and added to the invoice. Call for quotes on large or heavy items. 

Rush delivery options are available at an extra cost. Contact customer 

service for quotes. Customer is responsible for all freight charges. 

INSPECT ALL MERCHANDISE AT TIME OF DELIVERY: 

All shipments must be inspected and checked against our packing list 

for shortages and damaged merchandise at time of delivery. Claims 

for shortages and/or damaged product must be made within three 

days. Note any damages or shortages on the bill of lading or delivery 

receipt before signing it. Sport Chalet Team Sales is not responsible 

for damages or loss in transit, but will assist you in filing a claim if all 

of the correct procedures have been carried out. Contact customer 

service for assistance. 

RETURNS: 

Sport Chalet Team Sales wants to provide you with the highest quality 

of merchandise. If you are not satisfied with your goods, you may be 

able to return or exchange your items. Defective merchandise will be 

repaired or replaced at no charge. Returns will not be accepted 

without prior written authorization. Contact customer service for 

a return authorization. All returns will be refused unless a return 

authorization has been issued. A restocking fee may apply. 

EXCHANGES: 

Request for exchanges must be made within three days from receipt 

of your order. Exchanges will only be made on stock equipment and 

stock unlettered garments in new condition. It is the sole discretion 

of Sport Chalet Team Sales to accept exchanges based on product 

condition and availability. Contact customer service for additional 

information. A restocking fee may apply. 

Sport Chalet Team Sales is not responsible for cancelled orders when 

we have acted in good faith in fulfilling your purchase order. All 

cancellations must be in writing. Special orders including lettered 

garments may not be cancelled. A restocking fee may apply. 

ERRORS: 

Occasionally, there may be errors in prices, description, or images of 

certain merchandise. Sport Chalet Team Sales must reserve the right 

to refuse orders of those items. 

CREDIT TERMS 

C.O.D.: 

Sport Chalet Team Sales does not ship C.O.D. 

PREPAY: 

Prepay your order using MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover 

Card, cashier’s check, or money order. Personal checks will be accepted 

subject to verification of funds. Personal checks must include 

current address (no P.O. Box), valid ID or driver’s license, and phone 

number. 

Prepaid orders to be shipped must have all freight charges estimated 

at the time order is placed. New accounts will be placed on PREPAY 

basis until credit is approved. 

NET 30 DAYS: 

Established accounts may receive extended terms. Full payment, including 

all shipping charges, is due 30 days from the invoice date. 

Purchase orders or purchase agreement must accompany all orders. 

30-day terms are subject to credit department approval. All 

Leagues and Booster Clubs must complete a Credit Application by the 

President and/or Treasurer. A 50% deposit is required when the order 

is placed. The balance is due upon delivery. Any accounts with a 

returned check will be charged a $40.00 NSF fee and their line of credit 

will be revoked. 

SERVICE CHARGE: 

A service charge of 1 ½ % per month (18% per annum) or the highest 

legally permissible rate, whichever is less, will be assessed to any past 

due accounts, as shown on our invoice. 

FORCE MAJEURE: 

The delivery terms shall not apply in the event of a natural disaster, 

labor strike, or other cause not reasonably within the control of Sport 

Chalet Team Sales, and which impedes Sport Chalet Team Sales ability 

to meet the terms of delivery. Price guarantees are subject to raw 

materials price stability. All prices subject to change without notice. 

NO PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT CAN PREVENT ALL SUCH INJURIES. 

USE THIS EQUIPMENT AT YOUR OWN RISK. 

The user assumes all risks entailed in action, since Sport Chalet Team 

Sales cannot guarantee freedom from injury. Use of equipment in 

this catalog cannot prevent serious injury or death. Sporting events 

are dangerous in nature and the participant assumes all risks therein. 

The equipment is sold on this condition and by no means can any 

company representative waive or alter this position.
