INDICATIONS:
GASTRO-INTESTINAL DISORDERS
• Acute and Chronic diarrhoea.
• Inflammatory Bowel Disease
(IBD).
• Maldigestion, malabsorption.
• Bacterial overgrowth.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:

FEEDING DURATION:

Insufficiency (EPI).
• Gastritis.
• Colitis.
• Chronic pancreatitis.
In
cases of acute disease, regeneration of the intestinal villi requires nutritional
support to last a minimum of three weeks.
Lifetime feeding may be necessary/beneficial in case of chronic disease.
In order to optimise digestive function, the recommended daily intake should be
divided into several small meals.
• Combination of highly digestible proteins,
prebiotics (fructo-oligo-saccharides &
mannan-oligo-saccharides), beet pulp,
rice and fish oil to help support
digestive security.
• A reduced calorie content helps limit weight
gain in neutered dogs or those with a
tendency to gain weight.

spontaneous intake in fussy dogs.
• Eicosapentaenoic and docosahexaenoic
acids, omega-3 long chain fatty acids
help support digestive health.
Fermentable fibre intake (beet pulp, FOS) is a source of nutrients for
intestinal microflora which are essential for colonic health and motility.
Mannan-oligo-saccharides (MOS) support intestinal local defences
and have receptors which bind to bacterial adhesion sites, so limiting their
availability to pathogenic bacteria.
